Anyone done the bus from Oxford City centre to the ground, is it straightforward. I'm planning on doing this on Saturday after getting the train from Coventry
I have read that the buses arn't great after the match. Takes a while to get on one, then 30-45 mins to the centre.

Remember it’s a 12.30 kick off so not sure if alcohol will be available in some places.

Getting quite excited for this after the last game. Really want to see us develop with 4ATB and see how we integrate Wright and Sheaf over the next few. EMC gives us someone you expect things to happen when he gets the ball, nice watching Grimes. Fun times at the moment whoever plays. Should be a great day out for those going from the sounds of it too. Just need the next day and a half to fuck off.

Nice to be looking forward to matches. I find myself getting impatient too which is better than thinking 'oh fuck, not again.'

Genuine question:

How would we as Coventry fans feel about a whole group of Sunderland fans buying up tickets in the home end in our upcoming game against them?

Depending on results over the next couple of games, this could be an important match and could well end up being a very high attendance. Are we ok with the idea of opposition fans taking tickets away from home ones?

No one would be happy, of course. Oxford are a small team and don’t really fill out their ground. Whereas we’ll begin to regularly get close to full capacity for home games for the rest of the season if we’re in the playoffs.

Potential banana skin this. We will slip up against someone we expect to beat, especially when they’re fighting for points to stay up.

If they have little chance of the autos, which is looking likely, then they won't bother. Their ticket sales for the game have reached lower categories than usual, plus they think the game may be moved ( Fri night/Sat early) re: TV.

Those fixtures have already been decided. It’s a 3 kick off.

Oxford fans are proper salty ain’t they. All think they’ll win and we’re tin pot apparently.

some cov fan has mentioned how we avg 27K and they’ve come back with 83% fill ratio as there’s is 90% fill ratio

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If our ground held 12K OURS WOULD BE 100% 😂
Never understand this bragging about % of ground full. It's only relevant if you fill it 100%, otherwise the average attendance is all that matters really.

Not just that but depends on the size surely. Imagine we moved to the butts park in league one. Sold it out to 5,000 and started bragging about our numbers 🤣

I was tempted to go wind them up but then you are at risk of falling down a Procdoc type rabbit hole (see also multiple posters on the Sunderland forum.) But again, how stupid do you have to be to type this? How can capacity be restricting them if they fill about 90% of it? Make it make sense.
Anyway, if anyone from that forum is snooping, could you please tell this bloke he's thick as fuck.
I do actually find dick waving about club size a bit cringey, a lot of The Championship is much of a muchness and Bournemouth are a fucking Sunday league club but its not holding them back. But come on though, Oxford? Pipe down lads.
