It seems to me that some on here think that a team that has not fallen out of the top 4 of the last 12 games form table is suddenly for no reason going to crash and burn in the next 12 games against mainly lower table opposition.
Anything could happen but why are people expecting it?

Reading through this thread, I would say the majority of posters are ‘airing on the side of caution’ in fact quite a few are positively pessimistic, which considering the run we’re on & the players coming back in to the team is a little surprising.

g….We are in a good position. I’m hoping those left from last season grasp the nettle and hold on to it this time. Last season’s run in was always going to be difficult even before the cup letdown.

Aside from one year of actually making the play offs we don’t have any experience of just falling short. It’s either a long way off or abysmal failure.

I'm speaking generally of disappointment, not specifically playoffs. Abysmal failure has definitely been a regular during my time supporting this club though. Hopefully a few more seasons of general success undo the damage
