The fact his clapped out Army can’t take one country in 3 years might be a clue
Assuming he is left to take Ukraine he presumably takes any leftover military equipment..? Can then take the next few years to rebuild. Like he’s done a few times already.

What you are implying is using military force to then achieve regime change.

Your comments are speculative and far more dangerous then letting him have a victory in Ukraine

This type of polarisation may well lead to an assassination or a suspicious passing.

Was the outcome ever going to be much different? Why do you think the USA invests in wars?
Normally it’s because of the military industrial complex rather than purely grabbing the resources of former allies. As it is, Trump and Putin seem to have agreed on a cease fire to allow the US to drain the country of anything worth taking before Russia comes in to take the land.

Incredibly it isn’t even the most heinous thing the US is engaged in given the ethnic cleansing it has planned in Gaza.

It’s not just about that it’s also about the guarantee of security and relative peace through the projection of force to provide stable markets.

Trump the simpleton can only see things as a deal and what’s in it for him but if he helps create a situation which batters global financial markets it will ultimately harm the USA.

Time for Europe to wake up and take responsibility now, cut off ties with America they need us more than we need them especially economically.

Send their troops packing from the bases here, it will soon cause panic among the US government.

Hopefully the orangutan dies sooner rather than later.

Slava Ukraine.

Every day you think we've reached a low and nothing Trump can do will surprise you but he manages to pull something out of the bag every time.

Truly insane that there's people trying to blame this on Zelensky. Although not sure if that's more insane than people suggesting Zelensky doesn't want peace and / or won't negotiate because he won't just hand the country over to Putin and its natural resources over to Trump and Musk with nothing in return.

History tells us that Putin will just come back for more once he has regrouped anyway. Without any security element of a negotiated end what is there to stop that happening again?

I feel like Ukraine need to just do what they can for all of us much like we did in the Second World War when other countries were bending over backwards
If USA think money is more important than standards fuck em
In all honesty Pete, if it wasn’t for the fact we are an Island nation, there’s little doubt that we to would have been bent over backwards.

Of course
The US want half of Ukrainian mineral wealth in perpetuity. So the choice is between economic slavery followed by Putin invading later or to have Putin continue to wreak destruction for years longer.

His country is in an impossible position.
Ukraine was supposed to have offered a deal with Obama years ago. The US turned it down because it was deemed non-viable.

If that’s the case, Trump may have been barking up the wrong tree.

On this occasion Ukraine did float the idea of allowing the US 10% or so of the mineral wealth. Trump took that and whacked up to 50%.

Proud of it aren’t they?
Of course they are. They want the precious metal resources that are in Ukraine and don’t really care how they achieve that.

Everyone incessantly suggesting he’s Putin’s stooge are missing the point. He’ll pretend to be anyone’s stooge to get what he wants. He doesn’t care how many EU leaders send tweets of support to Zelensky.
