If you say soIt’s just more rubbish. It’s been blatant all along. Surely with the ‘people have the nerve’ it was obvious what was going on. I’ve said it in literally every single match thread. This insecurity thing you have about always being right has blinded you.
I could say it on Saturday and Tuesday, and people will still froth at it.
We don't need to thrash anyone, we just need to win. I guarantee no one within the club is paying even the smallest amount of attention to goal difference. We need to thrash someone - goal difference could be important mag be the difference between Scumberland and Burnley
Agreed it would be better with points but If they all get close goal difference will decide it - could be the difference between Sunderland and Burnley and we don’t want to be playing BurnleyWe don't need to thrash anyone, we just need to win. If we get enough points to be in top 6 our gd will have taken care of itselfAgreed it would be better with points but If they all get close goal difference will decide it - could be the difference between Sunderland and Burnley and we don’t want to be playing Burnley
Burnley may finish second and then its Sunderland or Sheffield Utd which isnt as bigger difference tbhWe need to thrash someone - goal difference could be important mag be the difference between Scumberland and Burnley
get on with managing the team and winning Satdee - leave the semantics to usWe need to finish 4th or 5th for our best chance of getting the one off game for Wembley. How things stand we won't catch up with any sides on GD presently in the top 6. Not worth worrying about yet.
To finish 4th we'd have to catch up 12pts on Sunderland in 11 games, just admit it isn't going to happen. We need to finish 4th or 5th for our best chance of getting the one off game for Wembley. It wasn't long ago where the comment was we wouldn't catch up with the top 6. The only time my confidence dipped on this was after our defeat against Norwich. To finish 4th we'd have to catch up 12pts on Sunderland in 11 games, just admit it isn't going to happen.![]()
Sunderland lost their best player and another main player a couple of games ago to injury. Wright could be back on form by the time we play them. There's no reason to expect a defeat in that game. The next two games are vital! Two wins and then if we fuck up the next 3 against the Top 4 clubs we’ve created a bit of buffer in there.
You’ve gotta bank points against the lower teams now.
You’ve gotta fancy us against Derby & Stoke and then we are at least good for a draw against Sunderland at a minimum.

Big blow for Blackburn
Which is the thing people need to remember, other teams besides us will get injuries too.Doak also probably out for rest of season for Middlesbrough and Chrisene for Norwich.

What are the 9 ahead of it?Ranked as the 10th best league in the world View attachment 41889

Found it i think. Absolutely no chance the MLS is better, in fact i'd make an argument for being around 6th, although admittedly i know little about the Brazilian league.
That’s a wank vote MLS my arseView attachment 41890

Yes, the standard of football in the MLS is still absolutely atrocious. Probably Lower League 1/League 2Having the US Major Soccer League above the Championships just discredits the survey.
Could Lionel Messi do it on a wet and windy night in Morecambe?Probably Lower League 1/League 2
My point still holds that the overall the standard of football in the MLS is extremely poorCould Lionel Messi do it on a wet and windy night in Morecambe?
Yes, yes he could.
There might be some dross there (MLS, not Morecambe), but I think there are a lot of good developing South and Central American talents there, too. Not surprising really that good young players from the Americas gravitate there.
Sargent after 5 minutes ffs.Oh well, there you go
