Wouldn't change the team unless there are some injuries. Confidence is high.

Hopefully Wright can get more minutes, but otherwise let's just get the job done. We should have enough to beat them, but we cannot be complacent. I liked what Bobby Thomas said in the after-match interview, let's just focus on this and then one game at a time.

Can't wait for Tuesday already.

WBA & Bristol both have tough games away at Burnley and Sheffield Utd respectively. We can buy ourselves some important space given the fixtures that we have to follow.

I think if we win here we will be in pole position to finish in the playoffs really , I doubt we will lose the following 3 games on the spin either

On paper a great chance to put some distance between us and 6/7th. But this league dont work like that and every chance we lose and Bristol beat Sheff Utd.

Wonder if we might use the squad a bit with this one. Get the likes of Wright and Sheaf more time and give people the full week to recover if they’re carrying a niggle. Maybe even go back to a three at the back if MvE isn’t fit with Eccles wide right (we won’t it’ll be Lats but Eccles is the better option IMO)

I think with Sunderland next weekend maybe MVE deserves a rest for this. Maybe move Eccles to cover that position, but it will likely be Lati who scares me.

If EMC has a knock, then Wright may need to start and be subbed off by Patterson/BTA or Bassette.

Will be tough and Yates always seems to do well against us. With all the other tough matches coming up, I’d love a win here, but our injury list is growing and we need everyone fit and firing through May. Draw may not be a bad result.

Think it was mentioned somewhere else but 7 of our 9 win were by a single goal. Would be nice to give someone a bit of a whacking rather than hanging on.

If MvE is out I'd say a draw, if he's good to go I reckon a tight win. MvE to Lati is one hell of a downgrade.
As I say every time, no away game in this league is easy.
Yeah. They aren't a great side but depending on what we have available a draw might be a decent result.

If MvE is out I'd rather Eccles at RB than Lati tbh. I don't have as much of a downer on Lati as some, but he's a real weak link at RB or RWB.

It's been a feature of our return to the championship.
Rarely seem to put games to bed, or it certainly feels that way, some statto may prove me wrong.

Explaining the injuries, the head coach said: “Ephron has been struggling a bit this week with a toe injury, which is a painful one. He passed a fitness test on Friday and this is a recurrence of that, so we will just have to gauge it. Let’s hope he’s OK for Tuesday.”

He added: “Milan felt a little bit of an issue in his Achilles. He felt he could carry on and we’re hoping it’s not a bad injury and we’ll look and see how he reports tomorrow (Sun) but with a bit of luck he’ll be OK and in contention for Tuesday as well. But we’ll see.”

I think this could be the end of our winning streak, we really have not been convincing of late. The last few outings have been reminiscent of our games at the start of the season.

For me Allen needs to come back into the fold, we are far to passive off the ball.

MVE can’t be that as he was able to carry on for a bit and was jumping around at the end. However, I expect he’ll be rested Tuesday, hopefully with Eccles taking his place rather than Lati.

To be fair, in all our time in the Championship, I think we've all seen teams get to the play offs or even autos and we've thought 'they aren't that great'.
Well that's us at the moment.

For me it's Eccles at LB, Wright in for EMC and Sheaf or Allen in midfield.
I'd start with Simms up front, but if we need to change things I'd bring Bassette on instead of BTA.

Agreed, you can normally apply this to teams from 3rd to about 10th. Generally a bit ropey, hence why they're not in the auto spots!

What was concerning was lack of pressure on the ball, especially down the flanks. There was two or three occasions in the first half where our defence literally ran away from their winger, it was bizarre and very similar to the start of the season. That has to stop.

The most solid we have looked is with Allen in the middle IMO.

If MVE and EMC are out I would be tempted to go to an 3-5-2 against Derby.

I have a feeling this will be the banana skin for us. They got a great result against Blackburn at home yesterday.

4–3-3 with the full backs going forward is leaving as vulnerable at the back and the midfield and defensive lines gap was too big at times.

As someone said yesterday, Sheffield United regularly stink the joint out but I doubt their fans care. West Brom haven't been entertaining since they had Zoltan Gera but always stick around like a bad smell.
That said, I don't even think we are as 'bad' as some are making out anyway.
