Its currently a 7 or 8 way fight which is surely unique heading into mid-March.

Currently in all comps its:

Simms 7
Wright 7
Thomas-Asante 6
Torp 6
Mason Clarke 5
Rudoni 5
Thomas 5
Sakamoto 4

Last time a striker or winger didn't win it? Speedie in 88/89 (I'm sure he played the bulk of that season behind Regis and Bannister)?

Massively spread around this season, whoever ends up top will likely only just break double figures at this rate. Can't believe how many have been headers this season too!

If you had been told this without knowing our league position you’d assume we’ve had a terrible season, we’re one of the highest scoring teams in the league as well.

Simms should win it easily. Haji still looks like he will take a while to get up to speed.

But im not complaining if Simms doesnt as hes keeping the centre backs occupied and olening up spaces for the others. Team game.

Went to pot...the shape and everything after Simms went off vs Stoke.

This. Something that is underrated about Simms is that he’s great at defending set pieces too. We’d took off EMC, Torp, Eccles, MVE and Simms for Allen, Sheaf, BTA, Lati and Haji. We lost a lot of height and probably shouldn’t be that surprised we conceded a set piece.
