Update. Arrived in a little town called Hopwas in Tamworth. Its very nice. Cramps are becoming unbearable, going to Google stretches for a long distance bike ride, but am trying to conserve energy on my phone incase of an emergency. Sweating a bit. Plenty of water left though.
Also, must have left my fags in the bench in Kinsbury and I ain't going back for them.
Next stop, Burton on trent.
Any advice for cramp?
Get someone to rub it better

It's not "happy" with a point. But you would take a point over a defeat wouldn't you and it's a game we could well slip up in.

If we were to go on and lose, I bet tomorrow you will be saying you would have been "happy" with a point. 😂
Before the game I wouldn't be happy with a point as everything is in our favour other than not playing at home. I also wouldn't be unhappy. But if we go 2 goals down I would be very happy with a point.

Hope this helps.

I don't assume or expect a win. I would question anyone who ever expects a win especially away. It's this happy with a point thing. Win tonight and we will pull away from the sides below us unless Sheffield United and Burnley lose. Just what we need with our next 3 games. It would take the pressure off.
We've simply got to win this one.
Away wins are a massive bonus, and we have to take advantage of Derby's injury problems and the fact that they only have 1 win in the last 12

Update. Made it to Burton on Trent, feeling a bit light headed and struggling to breathe, but ahead of shedule as the last part of the ride was down hill. I have managed to find a Lidl, was hoping for a Carling but ended up going for a Perlenbacher Pilsner Lager because it was cheap. Got 2 minutes spare to drink this and quickly eat a quiche, Google maps says its 1 hour 30 mins to the ground, but I need to find somewhere to lock my bike. Got to go now.
Come on City
In retrospect I shouldn't have used my bmx, my lads got a mountain bike I could have used that would have made pedalling easier. Got to go.

Would you say it was must win?
I'd say so, there aren't any easy games, but if we are serious about a top 6 finish, we have to be looking for 3 points tonight.
Especially with games against 3 of the top 4 still to come.

If we fail to win it's not the end of the dream by any means, but it means we have far less room for error going forward, and it gives other teams in the race a massive boost.

Must be pushing it in to make kick off time. You should let them know you and all the other cyclists are en route, they might delay k.o. Until 9pm for you.

Are we looking for someone in his lycras, or in casuals soaked in sweat?

See if you can get yourself a canoe and do the last leg of the journey down the canal.

I remember the human cabbages. I think we may have even done a double gig with them at whatever that pub in the bird cage was called. Before it was the slug and something. Must've been around 1979 or 1980.
