If we get into the international break still in the paly offs we've done great. I don't think we'll lose this one, hoping for a win of course.

3-0 loss our strikers look fucking useless and the ones that have been scoring are injured so a horrible afternoon ahead I think but hope I'm totally wrong of course.

Really like Sheaf (or did until this season), but he doesn't deserve to be anywhere else other than the bench right now.

And that is if he's even fit enough for the bench. Grimes had his first poor game for us last night, but on the whole has been very good. And, most importantly, he never misses a game.

Feck it, back to the 3-4-2-1 of Preston and Oxford. Will it work without Rudoni and Paterson filling in. Probably not but it was fun at least.

Dovin
Thomas - Kitching - Bidwell
Milan - Eccles - Grimes - Paterson
Sakamoto - Mason-Clark

We need to get a minimum of a draw and just not lose.

Don’t think Lampard will go to 5-3-2

Think we lose this. We look poor without Rudoni.

Not confident in the slightest but neither are Sunderland fans who are furious with their result last night. Similar to us, they weren't happy with time wasting etc.

It will be a great game if both sides go for it. The reverse fixture was fun and the second half was, for me, the best we've played all season. We should have won it.

We need to pick up something because I fear for us going into a 2 week break having lost two games and losing all momentum.

Yeah, that was a great game to go to. Robins had just been sacked, King was getting a verbal pasting and we made a great second half comeback.

Just put up a fight. We can obviously see this league throws up some strange results at the best of times, but we are capable of beating almost anyone. Sunderland are a good team, so it is going to be really tough, but let's at least have a go at them.

I don't think anyone would have been that disappointed if we had lost last night having played with a bit of aggression and desire, but we flapped around and just looked weak. Derby wanted it more. I hope that we can take a lesson from that game and go into Saturday's match wanting to put it right. I believe we can do it.

There's four players out of position there!

Lose to Derby and beat Sunderland is the peak city thing to do.
Yeah, I don't know why some were questioning the thinking.

Losing last night was such a Coventry City thing to do.

The opposition are rubbish. 10 players out, can't score goals etc etc . Odds on certain to win..

Had a red flag all over it and I, like many others, could see this easily being a banana skin could easily slip on.

Paterson, based on what? At fault for the Preston goal or falling over and nearly gifting Oxford a third? Can't think of anything else he's done apart from that.

Both of those games were 4-2-3-1.

Bidwell was playing left back not centre back.
Yeah I thought that and 100% appreciate I could of got this wrong but looked at Rudoni’s average position and he is 100% playing left wing more than central 10.

Think someone explained it but Bidwell is playing more of a left back as he forms a back four out of possession with Milan tracing back as well. Rudoni and saka form the midfield four and EMC goes top. But comes in to form the three for the 3-2-5
