To be fair they seem to be growing strong in Kenilworth of all places

My experience is Kenilworth being the most painfully White place around here. My eldest reckons there's less than ten black kids in his secondary school. Not a shock it would be a low-key Reform stronghold tbh.

I have heard people there openly blaming inflation on ‘filling the civil service with wogs’

If you don’t want politicians accountable for public services I’m not sure what you do want them to do.
How often are politicians held to account for anything? I’m sure you could argue that the electorate hold them to
account every five years, but there are too many other variables to make it clear cut.

If this is a serious post, you probably need to wrap your head around the difference between pointing out that racism exists, and being racist.
Just pointing out how easy it is for some people on here to play the race card, and for some to go out of their way to see racism, where there isn't any.

Its a follow over from the "shit Sakamoto" chant thread, where a chant that was clearly meant as banter (funny or not) was seised on as being a racist chant by some.

Where as real racism does still exist as we saw in Palmers abuse at Hillsborough, I think some on here need to just carm down a little.

I don't know what you are flapping about, all the local councillers are in the Green party?

As for 'painfully white', what sort of stupid fucking comment is that?

It's impossible to hold our political leaders to account when there's only 2 horses in the race, and both are shite and just as crooked as each other.

Bring on the revolution !!!!!

Exactly, his use of the comment "painfully white" has to be racist in the extreme!

You could just imagine the outrage if someone put "painfully black" can't you!

Someone said Reform is doing well in Kenilworth. I'm not surprised by that. Not sure that's 'flapping'.

and it's an observation that Kenilworth has a lower than avg. representation of minorities living there.

Jesus fucking wept, have you any fucking idea how fucking offensive that is to the millions of non white British people who are proud to be British, and are a credit to this country, or all the non white service men and women who work in our armed services, hospitals, schools etc etc.
There’s currently a thriving debate on the right-most edges of this country’s politics as to whether these people you’re supposedly so concerned about can even be considered English.

Racism is treating people differently based on their race or ethnicity. If you can explain how it's racist to point out that the population of a town is much less diverse than others close by, go for it.

So if you said an area of a which had a higher Muslim concentration than any other as “painfully Muslim” - that would be acceptable?

If I said it, no, it wouldn't. If someone of Muslim heritage said it, I'd argue it was acceptable. Difference between punching up and punching down.

Dunno. I haven't done a vox pop to find out.

and I haven't said or inferred that it is, either.
Arrrr, but ive CHOSEN to interpret your post as being racist, and so I feel I can call you out on it, on my way to rush to some kind of moral high ground, so I can feel like a right smug righteous c**t.

I'm not sparring for a fight on this and I'm not about to guess why you're posting what you are. I'll debate the subject but I'm not gonna nibble on rhetorical stuff. I like this post, though. I read it in a pirate voice. "Arrrr!"

Or not stabbing our children to death.

But yea, let's just twist it back to a race issue if that suits your agenda.

Who do you think is “stabbing our children to death”?
