A long read, but an interesting one. Even if you think the estimates are way out, you're still talking about hundreds of thousands (if not millions) dead within a year, so the United States can save on a tiny fraction of its budget.
I completely accept the argument that the US (nor any country) has no obligation to spend money on foreign aid. But for someone who's supposedly very concerned about the future of humanity, how does Musk rationalise this?
