You're right, as a white man I should be ashamed of my skin. I would also just like to apologise to every non-white person reading this on behalf of my race; we are sorry for being so evil. Obviously every white person should be held fully responsible for the slave trade (it's not like Africans caught and sold their own to the traders and it isn't like there hasn't been a white slave trade)

Why is it every thread about Racism on here turns into how I should be ashamed to be what I am?

As for the bloke at Spurs, if for instance Snoop Dogg spends half his life calling himself and his friends "nigger", I see no problem in me doing the same. Same with the word "Yid" and Tottenham. Also could anybody please explain to me why calling someone a black c**t is so much worse than calling someone a French c**t, both are just insulting someone with the word c**t and mentioning their race.

Where has anybody once in this thread said that you have to be ashamed of being white? Point it out please?

Paranoid bollocks.

Why were you afraid to mention you were a communist when in the RAF?

It wasn't really allowed during the Cold War, nor now i don't think.

Don't think that you were allowed to be a member of any political party at all whilst serving, and probably still the same now.

They used to just ignore my red flag with Che Guavara on it during AOC inspections.

Left wing media!? Daily Mail and the The Sun best selling papers, oh, I guess they are more revolutionary, spouting 'communist' propaganda than 'Militant'.

There are no mainstream, 'left wing' newspapers

I take it you lean slightly to the right :jerkit:

They're not essentially right wing though. Both papers are in love with 'institutions' such as the NHS, hardly right wing.

They're populist papers, some things they print are right leaning and some not.

sun is as anti muslim as it gets

they have done a piece on how great the UKIP are today infact

What, in printing critical stories about terrorists / terrorist sympathisers? That's very anti muslim, how naughty of them.

As for UKIP, they're a right wing party, I'd say it's more about anti EU tendencies rather than being right wing per se. How would you explain the Sun's support for the Scottish Nationalists?

hahah

"they say it why cant i?!"

grown men-childish excuses.

the question is WHY would you want to say it full stop?

I'm not saying I want to say it. I'm merely pointing out that if you refer to yourself and everyone in your certain "group" i.e Spurs fans calling themselves Yids. You can't then throw a tantrum when someone outside of the group refers to you by the same name and then expect them to be heavily punished.

with the sun its more a case of

page 1 TERRORIST KILLS OUR SOLIDOR!!!!!!!!!
page 18 allied forces disclose 12 civilians died as part of their project freedom drive

page 1 MUSLIM GANG ATTACKS SHOPPERS
page 23 a gang of youths took part in anti social behaviour in city centre(when white)

but whilst idiots eat it up it will sell.

Like it or not a white man has to be on his guard when saying anything that could remotely be construed as racist or sexist. Peter Herbert kicked this off this season and we're now seeing 'racism' allegations banded about every week at some level. Genuine racism is deplorable but when black singers call themselves 'the n word' they're condoning its use.

I manage to traverse this minefield by not saying racist or sexist stuff. I'm really a pioneer.

Imagine the uproar if a paper said there shouldn't be a NHS?

Any party who set out to privatise the NHS (the Tories have started to subtlety) would become unelectable.

You can tell the Tories do not genuinely love the NHS, you can tell when they talk about the USA's healthcare system, they criticise ObamaCare.

So to right wingers...

It shows that, because that statement was ignorant, and ill informed, like most right wingers!

That's the thing. People can believe whatever they want, but when someone is introducing counter arguments based on what is effectively bile, it does get me annoyed and I can't let it rest. This isn't stifling other peoples opinion, but can be interpreted as that.

And I'll argue bullshit both ways.

I'm no Tory but the privatisation of the NHS flourished under the Labour government. Look at Walsgrave Hospital for one of the best examples.

Correct.....But even better examples would be that Labour actually launched the tendering process for the privatisation of Hitchinbrooke hospital....the first to be taken from NHS trust to private sector.

.....not to mention Labours massive PFI-funded hospital building program....

The New Labour Party were/are just Tories who are too afraid/ashamed to admit it.

Meet the new boss....same as the old boss.

I won't be fooled again.

That's true enough, Tony Blair almost an anagram for Tory Plan B.

Convinced that John Smith was knocked off to get the Tory in Sheep's clothing in.

John Smith....Probably the last UK politician who I would've lent a tenner to.....

Next election, who will you vote for?

Possibly a protest vote.........but probably won't bother.

Labour. Always has been, always will be. A protest vote would have been a cop out last time and it is something I could never do.

Next election, who will you vote for?
