Can't remember the full details but believe they are closing off that part of the car park to build several more drive thru restaurants
there.

They took some of the car park of Tescos in Warwick and built a Macdonalds. Probably doing the same.

That vacant unit next to Bucks is crying out for a Bar of some description. Could make a packet on match days. I guess the rents make it fruitless.
Regularly seems to be units sat empty for long periods of time. Makes it seem slightly odd to be building additional units. Not sure opening a Five Guys next to a Burger King and a Popeyes Chicken next to a Bucks Chicken is the best planning tbh.

How are buses & deliveries going to get round the back if they're closing that road off?

The last thing this country needs is more fast food restaurants, the arena car park will be a fucking tip

They refused to accept the new rates the Council imposed in Coventry
Interesting.

They purchased the Kenilworth property about 4 years ago. It has been empty since a Poundland shop there closed.

Speaking as a coeliac somewhere offering GF options would be a nice novelty. Literally limited to a jacket potato from M&S atm, and good luck getting a table in their with the kids on a matchday.

I hate drive through restaurants, a ridiculous import from America. Why the fuck do people use a drive through and then sit in their car in the car park eating it. There are tables and chairs inside you know.

:ROFLMAO: Because who the f*ck actually wants to sit in fast food place? Sticky tables, screaming kids and the manbag wearing, scooter riding dregs.

I want to sit in a nice pub/restaurant, fast food places are for when I'm lazy or hungover. Pick it up, drive home.

Also all these Uber Eats orders in them. It’s cold anyway before they even deliver it.

There’s even deliveroo in my local co op now

I have a friend who sometimes takes her own batches with her. Food places are always happy to use them as it saves them money from a customer who otherwise couldn't eat there.

Drive thru perfect when you have kids and on a long journey. 5 minutes stop instead of 30 minutes and 10 minutes of peace.

We have to take food with us everywhere (my youngest is coeliac too). The options in and around the stadium are shite.

Further afield Playwrights is brilliant (we go there sometimes) and Golden Cross in town is really good.

I meant just the batches themselves and no fillings.

It's a disgrace how much shops charge for GF food items. She does bake some stunning cakes though. Doing me a GF cheesecake this week 😋

Golden Cross is amazing full stop, the fact their entire menu is GF is just mind blowing.

But then you don't get the greasy kitchen stench in your car. I mean you do, but you have to wait for it to start seeping out your pores, into the seating.
