Terrible news, but I'm not surprised by the potential diagnosis. What really concerns me is that FL still perceives that Collins is our number 2 keeper, even after all the poor performances earlier in the season.
If Dovin is out for the next 9 months, then a loan would be good move.....As long as Collins is offloaded.

I'm not certain of that. Wilson was only added to the bench after Kitching was ill, so for last night having trained as the back up it was probably right. With a weeks training and vying for number 1, I think it's still 50/50 for Burnley.

That fucking wanker Campbell. Make no mistake, knew what he was upto and some on here fawn over the way they play. Horrible cunts and always will be, hope their entire team get their ankles snapped.
Agree. He deliberately tried to wind up Grimes at the start, was late on Dovin and MWE leaving them both needing treatment. The ref was soft on Sheff Utd.

Wheres your proof?!
To be fair it's not news, possible ACL but it may not be and if it is we don't know what grade and anyway we won't know until sometime in the week when he can go for a scan.

It's ITK gold, you can not be wrong.

Are we being a bit harsh on Collins, he’s made a few howlers, every keeper does but his stats from last season compared to dovin this season, not much in it, and how many other clubs in this league wouldn’t have the same problem if they lost their No 1 keeper, you don’t find many quality back up keepers, sheff Utd keeper for our goal, leeds keeper today, in Fact ask a Leeds fan about theirs and they don’t rate him at all,

In this case I hope ITK sources are wrong, very wrong.

i wouldn’t see this as terminal if Wilson was brought in. This is the same guy who helped us to the play offs last time. What worries me is for some reason Collins seems to be ahead of him who is an accident waiting to happen.
I’ll trust lampards judgement. Whoever he thinks is the better keeper plays, he‘s improved everyone since he’s been here, why not Collins as well

nah, he's injured and will be out a while

just no one really knows how long
I know that obviously but I do not think we can be certain it is an ACL.

Goalkeeper a brutal and unique position. I just don’t see why we wouldn’t trust someone who has done this before. If anything, it could be a bonus to have someone with previous experience (would still prefer Dovin).

same here, unless Wilson wasn‘t fit, surprised when Collins came on, just worried the crowd reaction to Collins starting saturday, it feeds down to the pitch, just hope whoever comes in we all back him, haven’t got much choice, no point digging players out this stage of the season,

Prior to being dropped for Collins last season Wilson was being really bad.

This. People are forgetting how shite Wilson was because Collins had a bad period.

I'm not a fan of either, but Collins is slightly better.

I was sat yards from Sakamoto’s horrible injury last season and was very close to this one too. Really isn’t nice seeing players in that much pain.

Whoever plays in the first 11 will always get my support. Never understood attacking or being negative towards our own players, but my preference is definitely Wilson

Think this is a good case to break the no loans rules. GK is a position you don’t chop and change and we’ve invested in a decent young keeper who you’d assume will come back decent. Makes more sense to loan someone for a year than bring in another young keeper or pay for experience.

This. No scan until the swelling subsides.

The physios will have checked for x, y and z and come to the conclusion that they have.

Hopefully it's not a complete rupture.

Agree with this. Dovin has made a huge difference this season. Neither Collins or Wilson should be starting next season if we’re serious about going up.

Not to sure why you'd expect saddles to be able to give a comprehensive medical analysis in less than 24 hours before any scans take place.

But given there was people insisting he'd broken his ankle I welcome the info we've got, just wish it had been happier news.

Campbell made a legitimate challenge. Grow up
I’ve watched it back a few times now and completely disagree

It’s at best clumsy and reckless

But taking into account he’s a player who has had similar injuries and the fact I think their manager sent them out with intent to hurt one of our players off the back of the Bassette incident in the reverse fixture - I think it was cynical and deliberate

Tyrese Campbell should be shot dead. Fucking c**t.
