If that was most clubs the fans would be voicing their displeasure it’s like a morgue in there

Every time I have seen them I thought relegation fodder they are terrible.
Both teams look poor tonight. I think it shows the standard of the league this season. We've had a poor season imho in relation to previous few seasons. At times we've looked like a L1 team. I just think it's an extraordinarily poor season for quality this year. From top to bottom.

Now we could easily drop out of the top 6 tomorrow but not if we win. 🤞

Middlesbrough have a stuttering Leeds and us, but four other fixtures they should be looking at maximum points in.
Decent run in.... Fancy them to get in.
Also in form/have momentum - 5 wins in 7
If we lose tomorrow, that is 3 defeats in 4.

Blackburn fans not happy

I'm wondering what their desired outcome is from this. They need to find somebody like the Venkys willing to underwrite large losses every season and pay for the assets they do have, there is hardly likely to be a queue of suitors.
Are they still under currency control back in India, wasn't that what was happening under that guy a couple of seasons back, Swedish fella?

Leeds next for Middlesbrough and wba v Bristol so could easily be 8th tomorrow and back in the top 6 by Wednesday
The way Leeds and WBA have been dropping points, I don’t feel very confident/comfortable in relying on other teams to do us any favours.

I honestly think we miss out and end up 7th or 8th, shame but we just started too slow and never really got going until FL came in. I hope im wrong but i just see Boro, WBA and Bristol as being more solid than us. I still think we have done well to get in this position and that is what we need to look at if 7th or 8th is the outcome.
Yeah, it is definitely a possibility.

I really do think we need to pick up at least a point today.

Quite a few on here have said that we might well be outside the top 6 after today's game, but that we will be back in it again after Wednesday, against Portsmouth. Well, that is not at all a given, that we win that.

Could well be we only bag a draw against Portsmouth. It's a strange league and anyone can beat anyone.

I know it's only one game, but I feel that if we lose today and that results in our being outside the top 6, we may not get back in again.

Having said that though, I am very optimistic we WILL get something out of today's game.

I think if we win today, we will all believe we will make the playoffs, come the end of the season.

I was hoping that Middlesbrough would have just too much to catch up on us, but they are now above us

The two very crucial fixtures now could well prove to be WBA and Middlesbrough.

Beat them both and losing today is irrelevant. Fail to beat them and it means we just gave ourselves too much to do.

Pretty relaxed about it to be honest, whether we make it or not we are set up for a strong campaign next season from the start instead of halfway through.

Went on the Blackburn forum and thought I had gone back into the past forums on here. Doesn’t help it’s one of the same twats who was here with Sisu

“The club is dead to me under these people. I cannot support it anymore. What is there left to support? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

I heard they were stopping banners coming into the ground. Stewards mixed in with fans to stop protests which makes it even easier to just simply stay away folks.

Walk away folks. Empty the ground. There's nothing left.

Come back when they're gone.

NOT A PENNY MORE.“

Ahh the glory days...
They'll be dodgy calls for a Blackburn Rovers phoenix club soon (not the Brian Potter one)

Boro and Bristol City hitting form as us and Albion begin to falter

Said it after Sheff Utd, the second Dovin went down our play off hunt died

We will be thereabouts, but we now have to rely on keepers who cost us points not win us any
We haven't started to falter. We've just played our 3 remaining hardest games on the bounce. We were nearly the 1st side to put more than 1 goal in against Burnley in a league game all season.

Let's see how we do from now onwards before we wet the bed. Most people would have settled for 7th and just 1 point behind 6th before the start of the last 3 games. It's in our own hands. We don't have to rely on others.

Midweek games

Bristol City v WBA
Middlesbrough v Leeds
We have Portsmouth at home.

While I get it, we all knew that both teams would be a big ask. Let’s see how we perform in the next couple. Still got West Brom and Middlesboro to face yet

Don’t be such a fanny. We’ve come out of three tough games with three points. Back on the horse Wednesday and we’ll be fine.

I didn’t expect all that much out of this run but I think we will hammer Portsmouth on Wednesday.
