Supporters clubs already allocated their lot. It is frustrating seeing people on their lists that would have nowhere near the points required. If you can't beat them join them so I'm signing up to one next season

Get it's not everyones cup of tea, but surely encourages support in communities away from the city?

Why do they deserve the tickets more than people from Coventry? Makes no sense.

We need to kick up a fuss about this, it’s a joke that people without the actual amount of points can get tickets. My dad just about makes it on 1960. My cousins now might not be able to get tickets but Tarquin from Leamington with his paltry 1600 points can. Ridiculous.

Agree, if you didn't grow up in CV1-6 you should only be allowed to buy tickets after the real fans have had first refusal IMO

They don't get more tickets, there's now Coventry based SC that people can join.

They can get tickets without the points though is that right? Kind of makes the points system redundant then. How many tickets do each club get?

I don’t need to join one as I’m fortunate enough to be able to attend every game which other people with different jobs / family can’t. It doesn’t seem right though that someone who’s attended 75% of away games doesn’t get a ticket because a supporters club member that has attended 20% does.

Again luckily it doesn’t affect me but seems odd

It's been confirmed in here before.

If a SC has X number of season tickets they can request X number of match tickets before sale. They can't say can I have this many in the first window and this many in the second window etc.

The club have said this doesn't happen a few times but members from the London and Leamington club's have said it does in here before.

That's before the SC decides how to distribute those tickets internally, they could give them to people with 0 points for example (though that's no different than someone with points buying and selling to someone with 0 points.)

It was sarcasm. I know it happens but the club adamantly told me it didnt happen
I was told, by email, that the supporters clubs can only give names of qualifying people to get them. Clearly thats a lie but i have it on record in my inbox.

The Tav SC doesn't hide it:

For the record though the amount of these tickets for each game is sometimes single figures if at all as most people who use their coaches prefer to get their own tickets so they get the points.

I'm not going to going into the wrongs or rights of it though as that is boring

But there, if you are from Cov and you can't get a a ticket there is the way to make sure you can get a ticket for anyway games

You don't have to give away tickets to the most exclusive game of the season though do you

Supporters clubs getting tickets is a joke
Yep, let's say they can have it to all of the other ones where they would be able to get their own tickets anyway, but not the ones that that are difficult and will sell ...

Tbh most of those I know who go do have the points and are at almost every game. Appreciate that's not true of all tickets they get, but it allows groups in different brackets to be together and means they can make coaches viable as they can't commit to one without the other.

I’ve just started my own supporters club. Out of interest do they post my ticket or do I have to go to the ticket office and collect it?
If you name your supporters club as 'bitter cunts who dont have enough points to get tickets and do a few games a season but like to complain and moan" then there are quite a few on here who will join you.

I think you should go fuck yourself but we dont all get what we want. Once again starting an agressive conversation when nobody was speaking to you. Do you not realise nobody ever engages with you unless you start it to provoke a reaction? You really are the forums most boring twat.
