Underrated Players (3 Viewers)

I dismiss anyones footballing knowledge if they genuinely think we should be starting Chris Dunn ahead of Joe Murphy.

Have I really just read someone's opinion that he should've tipped that Shrewsbury effort (which lead to their goal) over the bar? Jesus wept, I hate our fans sometimes.

The amount of people that get on his back for not launching a quick counter attack from a corner to no one (as all our players are still in our box) is equally baffling.

Joe Murphy is having a very good season, anyone who disagrees still hasn't got over Westwood leaving or is a moron.

Think Murphy is an okay keeper, only criticism i would have that he never seems to catch the ball, but just punches it out which sometimes leads to problems.

Seems to be something most keepers do nowadays though.

We have Oggy at the club. He would have a decent idea on who is the best keeper at the club. If he thought it was Dunn he would be playing....unless you know more than someone that works with them all the time.....

Overated = Baker, scores a few great goals, but a poor player in genral, lucky he has no competition for that place.
No way on earth is he captain material, i'd rather have Woody or Murphy do it.

No agenda, just my opinion :D

Northampton were laughing when we signed dunn. He played awful against southampton last season. when has murphy parried it into the past of their striker recently? murphy made a top class save against shrewsbury then was unlucky because their player was there to tap in the rebound but there was no way he could have parried it away. Dunn has played a couple sub performances and 2 cup games for us. How you can even consider dropping him i don't know. He's also the only one that communicates and obviously wants to do well at the club.

yes, i agree it was a good save but it went straight to an attacker. that isnt the only error he's made. im not saying he's a bad keeper. he's a very good one, but i think tis a good time for Dunn to have a go and give Murphy a rest

Feck off. Dunn wouldn't have even got near that shot. There was nowhere else he could have parried the shot it was complete reflex. The only other moment he's had was the kick at mk dons but every goalie has done that. Why does Dunn deserve a go? when he plays shit you'll be moaning then. how many managers change their goalie for matches? man u thats it.

Jordan Willis.
I also think Conor Thomas is going to really kick on, and be an important player for us.

So, consistently performing at Championship level at the age of 18 isn't backing something up?

Some City fans do wind me up "they're not world beaters at 18! Waste of time!"

Both are rated as future talents, both have played at international level, both have attracted interest from Prem clubs, both have broken into the City first team well ahead f schedule.

Exactly how are they overrated?

Conor Thomas is very under-rated in my opinion. One of the most mature young midfielders I've seen in a while. Old head on young shoulders.
