Don't think there's more than one or two games this season where we've set up with 3 x CBs and got a result without being lucky and played a bit sh*t.

Just want us to be assertive, control the game and be brave with our decision making when we've got the ball in and around their box. Should have enough.

We will lose to Luton, Boro' will win v Norwich. We will beat Boro', and end up 6th.
Gus will be rested for the last 2 games, but overdose on Big Macs during his layoff (please let this happen)
Can't see it, but please let's get past Sheff Utd, somehow!

Luton denied us promotion would be fitting if we could send them down a league.
I have nothing against them but would be funny. Typical we can’t send them down this weekend as Derby are playing Hull.

Its about time we realise that we aren't brilliant, but a very good team. Collins isn't great, but nor are a few others in other places.
We've got this far on endeavour, and a belief in ourselves. So, bollocks to it, we might as well support the team than pull it down, whoever it may be. PUSB.

We have a top end Championship team, since Lampard has come in we’ve been operating at Top 4 form. Even under Robins the underlying data metrics suggested we were massively underperforming.

It’s the defensive mistakes and GK errors that have cost us dearly this season throughout.

Regardless of how this season ends, we need a better defence (including GK) as well as a couple of additions in the forwards, including out wide.

This team is really close to being right up there in this league.

Precisely, a better keeper till Dovin is back a better defence plus a better away record.

Be interesting to see what people will say if Wilson cocks up, Bring Bell in?

The definition of insanity is Collins playing every game. He isn't going to suddenly improve. That flap of the ball where he should of caught it or put a solid punch on it at least was the final straw for me. We need to try something different.

Give Wilson a go. As Lampard keeps saying it's a squad where players are ready to play at any time. If he has an absolute mare we could lose yet still get in the top 6 even if Middlesbrough win by beating them at our ground. If he comes in and plays well we'd all be happy. But we can't afford to leave it another game as we couldn't afford any disasters after this game.

They'll say, 'Wilson fucked up'.

If he does it at least once every 2 games I doubt many of them will argue he should keep his place like some people are doing for Collins.

Expect us to get turned over here, then beat Boro on the final day. We're generally inept when it comes to teams who press high, or have strong and physical players.

Completely unrelated, but I've just realised that JD Vance looks a little bit like a young Stephen Pressley.
Lol, well I hope Presley is not an idiot like Vance.

The smaller pitch should in theory help with the high line and plan to have Grimes drop a bit deeper, but then again that even I know exactly what we’re going to do means we’re just easy to prepare against.

Think we’ll struggle with this one. Luton will press and be aggressive, and I’m not sure we handle that very well. Hope I’m wrong, but think it will go to the last game where we’ll more than likely need to win. Unless of course, Norwich pull their fingers out and do something at ‘boro. They’ve sacked their manager, so perhaps they’ll pick up.

Norwich might well just go rogue, and if Sargent and Sainz decide to turn up who knows. They’ve lost to practically everyone except us this season I think

The only way it wasn’t going down to the last day is if we’d of beat Plymouth, we Never do things the easy way, strap yourself in

There’s a lot of overthinking on this thread.

The must win game has always been Boro. Some seriously funky stuff needs to happen for anyone else to realistically pip us to the playoffs.

The job this weekend is to pick up a point, minimum. I’d love to finish the job this weekend but we don’t necessarily need the pressure to actually win.

We’re at home against Boro and if they need a win to leapfrog us, we’ve got them exactly where we want them.

If we don’t get a single win v Luton nor Boro and we miss out, it serves ourselves right and the season becomes a failure.
