C'mon Leeds get 3-4 more goals.
5 or 6 will do meC'mon Leeds get 3-4 more goals.
Leeds in a different stratosphere to The rest of the league. Joy to watch. They should be 5 nil up.
not really been the times I've been there
Off to research. Didn’t know Laudrup or De Boer were brothers. Both world class?
The pace is frightening and their quickest player Dan James injured!!!Would really be criminal if Burnleynpip them to the title
James Bell again the twatBristol City player hurts his ankle, he holds his face and ref stops the game.
Let's sign him up then...lolLeeds always have a man free
The Bielsa Bilbao team were a great watch with a young Munain and I think Lloriente up top.Pure ultra coached positionalism as per Pep's teams seems to be on it's way out. You can still win like if you have the best players in ther league but City don't at the moment.
Even Barca under Flick have moved away from this and added a lot more verticality to their player and quickened up the tempo a lot.
The current "hipster" football coaching philosophy is "Bilbaoball", tactics influenced by Bilbao's traditional play that ahs allowed a team who only sign players from the Basque country to be successful.
Iraola is one of the these coaches and it is much more directly, faster and more transitional.
Ever watched Luton play mate?I wonder if a team went full crazy gang wimbeldon or John Becks Cambridge how they would do today, basically bang the ball upfront to at least one giant centre forward and sometimes two and put pressure on the opposition defence, I know a lot of centre backs just flop over like Lati and get lots of free kicks.
3-0. Could make a differenceIn the doldrums, I'm not expecting a goal fest from here and it doesn't matter anyway.
Yes it was. So are you trying to say it will never happen or they will never try and make it happen? It’s nothing to do with negotiating contracts - the reason parachute payments were sanctioned was the 3 team relegation - the pay off is the protection those clubs get which doesn’t exist in the Football League.
I have never seen players strike a ball from set pieces like that Dutch team. How on earth did they get such accuracy and more importantly velocity?Go back further. The Brazil side of the late 60s/early 70s and the Dutch ‘total football’ side of the 70s both played football that was entertaining and largely successful.
Pep sucked the fun out of it, but as I said it hopefully looks like outrageous concepts like going for goal more directly and at higher tempo are coming back in fashion.
The “Defensive Revolution” started with the England ‘66 World Cup squadI have never seen players strike a ball from set pieces like that Dutch team. How on earth did they get such accuracy and more importantly velocity?
Hell of an assist. Fair play to Piroe.Good grief imagine Ellis Simms trying to play a pass like that!
