I would give Elliott a start, Clarke on the bench

If Bailey is injured bring Thomas in

I would swap Fleck for Moussa

Murphy

Clarke Wood Edge Adams

Jennings Thomas

Baker Moussa Shef

Elliott

Agree with all except Elliott in for Clarke,

Like it or not Clarke's been brought in as our number one striker in place of McGoldrick and any game time he gets with the opportunity of goals is only going to help in the long run, he scored the other night, if he scores again tomorrow he may very well kick on and fill Goldies boots straight away,

However, when Elliott came on the other night he looked hungry, rather than taking off a Jennings or Fleck I'd consider bringing on a second striker and see how they link up

Id give Elliott the nod because Clarke has had two hard games and is clearly not fully match sharp, i understand Clarke is number 1

Good point, hadn''t considered match fitness if I'm being honest, I'd start with Clarke and see how he goes and certainly not leave it till the 80th minute to put Elliott on

I'd like to see Thomas start, impressed in the two cup games. Very calm and assured on the ball, creates space and has the killer pass. Use him instead of Bailey. Otherwise go with the same team as Thursday.

I was disappointed with Thomas. Preened himself around the pitch believing in his own hype. Good tackling but not much else. That's the critical. Now for the positives. Big and strong, looks like a top notch footballer even though he is coming back from a long time out.

If Bailey recovers I think CT will push Jennings for the starting position ,nice problem for MR to have .Have to say the injury suffered by Bailey

being another example of the PNE dark arts dept ,the amount of times I've witnessed them leave a leg in after the ball has been shifted or the

shoulder into the back of a CCFC player again when the ball was gone.:jerkit::jerkit::mad:

Totally agree. Defense has been great and doesnt need to change. Bailey is injured so perfect chance for Thomas to prove what he can do from the start. Moussa needs to come back. He tore PNE apart when he came on and Fleck was disapointing so Moussa should take his place. The rest of the midfield can stay as they are. I wanna see Elliott start for once. I understand that Robbins will probs keep the faith with his ew player but it must be horrible to work your arse off in training everday, see the man who was keeping you out of the team leave then thinking its your time, then the boss brings in someone else. He scored twice against MK Don for crying out load. Sure, Clarke's positioning was good on Thursday, but we dont need positioning, we need GOALS. I dont think it will happen, but i want Elliott to start. As for the bench, Dunn Cameron Christie Bell Fleck Barton Ball. Bell needs to prove that he deserves to stay so he needs a place on the bench. Ball is still recovering and i dont think is worth the risk. With Cody and ROD leaving soon, we need to keep him fresh, so leave him alone for a bit til those strikers leave

Keep it unchanged except with Thomas coming in for the injured Bailey.

Subs: Dunn, Christie, Cameron, Barton, Thomas, Moussa, Elliott

think jennings might be due a break, Thomas looks a good player but he doesn't move well if that makes any sense

I think the fact we are debating who should play in the middle of the park and that none of us can agree is a great sign on how healthy our engine room is... I think it depends on the opposition and how they set up but for me it really is any 4/5 from Macca, Jennings, Moose, Bailey, Baker, Fleck, Thomas.. all worthy of consideration on their own merits.

Moussa in for fleck, the rest unchanged unless baileys injured then Thomas to replace him.

Spot on, fleck was completely anonymous apart from ball through to Clarke in first half, thought Thomas showed good signs but would start with bailey as its more settled.
