There was actually 28K at that game but 6K of that were Leeds fans meaning only 22K Cov.

There is the potential for 30K City fans to be at this one. The atmosphere will be significantly better than at the Leeds match. As long as we don't go a goal down...

That was season before wasn't it?

I think if we went. Goal down that would be the time to turn up the noise, that was the difference against Preston!!

other than the JSB areas the stadium looks full to me, there is maybe 10 or 15 sets of 2 seats together and lots of single seats dotted around but thats it.

Being a sad sort of person, and feeling very aimless right now, I've been monitoring the sales. About an hour ago they started moving tickets in the JSB area for sets of seats, rather than releasing new blocks, which I find a bit surprising. Anyway, scores on the doors are:

Z1 = 409 (no sets)
Z2 = 45 (no sets)
JSB = 636

Selling between 180-200 ph

Surely they'll at least have to open 12/13/14 next

What's the highest number of home fans we've had at a game since we've been at the Ricoh.... Boro?

I wonder what blocks of the south stand Crewe have been given?

Why do I even care?

Waiting for a lift to the office to grab some tickets. Touching cloth now and I never thought I would say that as regards to getting home tickets!

Repost guys but to save you the trawl... the ticket office manager replied to my question a few days ago re opening the south stand(away end) to sky blue fans given the apparent lack of Crewe interest.. his reply as below.. on this basis I would assume that tickets in blocks 14-13-12-etc will soon be issued for sale to CCFC fans?

In the initial stages we have to offer Crewe 15% of the stadium to sell but if they don’t take these, which it doesn’t look like they will , then we would look at opening more of the ground for home fans should the demand for tickets be there. As with all games, due to the additional costs incurred when opening these blocks, they will only go on sale once the other areas of the stadium are filled but I sincerely hope that this is the case. As I’m sure you know, we have unsuccessfully tried to open that area to home fans permanently before but for a number of reasons we were forced to close it. The number of fans that wanted to move into that area wasn’t as big as we thought it would be either. I can assure that even before this game went on sale we have discussed opening that area of the ground once we have sold the required number of tickets and we will should the demand dictate we do.

Best Regards

The real bonus here is that this cup match is our next home game so there is no money to shell out for any other games coming up before it.

Going to be a great atmosphere. I can't wait!

Let's hope that those who've bought tickets actually turn up & are not just looking at it as a deposit towards getting a Wembley ticket.

Expect a rush over the weekend as people start to panic buy. There will definitely be 26k+ sold by tomorrow evening. I reckon the game will be sold out by Monday night.

Gonna be noisy on 5th. Pusb.

People are panic buying... Does anyone else think this will be a sellout for home sections? Be nice if it is but I think it may start to slow down now.
