Wondeful to hear what he is saying. Could not agree more.

The guy will fix this, I guarantee it.

Very honest as always. Seemed to be questioning Clarke's work rate and wondered if some players were too comfortable playing for CCFC. Also said that if Cody keeping scoring goals then something may have to be done there (recall).

Wood and Murphy should have done better for the goal. Pitch isn't helping.

He said the players are feeling to comfortable.

Hopefully he will start issuing fines everytime a player misses an good chance. The club would be in the black in no time.

..well if you read between the lines a little. he is suggesting McDonald may be called back should this continue again.
he is not happy with Leon Clarke, clearly needs to do more. Woody at the back getting direct criticism.
Chances must be taken. Goals are in this team yet we are anxious.
Sounded like he will change a few for next week and drop a few. Those few feeling too comfortable in the team...not so for Robins so changes afoot.
Had talked about the position we were in before today and desire to win it. Not quite doing what was expected from them. Could even suuggest he may have given a bit of hair dryer treatment tonight. Even joked he may need to come out of retirement if we continue to miss the target.

Hope that helps..

Mark Robins is the man. Have complete faith if he is given long enough - beynd this season. We will not go up but wait till team becomes fully his.

Whatever happens at the end of this season, we need to support the guy.

To be even talking semi-seriously about the play-offs after the start we had, shows what a great job MR has done.

I really like MR. He's not one of these "i didnt see it" / "we tried hard" / "we were unlucky" managers, he's honest, to the point and doesnt pull punches when it comes to naming names. I think he will fix us, just hope that the fans give him time and dont get on his back if we dont go up.

Did he mention any progress in the market? I really think one or two additions in the right areas could still give us a chance.

Makes a change to the previous regime of 'boys gave their all, 110% etc" and other assorted similar shite after another defeat.

I like what Robins says, and if not this season then I am sure next he will get us promoted, as long as SISU dont screw it up.

Did anyone else think the goal today was offside, as I thought he was off when he recieved tha ball (even though he was allowed to run and score such a pathetice goal) and was ours in the first half off or not?

"Teams are coming to the Ricoh and sitting back now rather than attacking and we have to adapt to that."

"We've got to take our chances when they come along. Today's defeat definitely gives me food for thought because the effort and the application was there but we've not had the best time in terms of quality.

"I'll certainly look to change things because we need that bit of quality.

"The players moved on very quickly from the disappointment of Tuesday night but today was a big game because Yeovil were only a point away from us with two games in hand and it wasn't to be for us and it's massively disappointing."

"Once you've got yourself in a position where you are around where you want to be you have to make the most of it and we didn't today. It's the nearly men tag that you don't want."

"We have to [make our own luck] and we have to write our own history and we were reluctant to do that today."

"We've just got to keep working towards our goals. Today has been a body blow, not a fatal one but we can't afford too many more performances and results like that.

"Places are up for grabs because two home defeats in a week is not good enough."

Completely agree with what MR said in his post match. I must say, espeically after today, we are shocking at corners. We all (as fans) get excited when we win one because it gives up an opportunity and it shows dominance but we are so wasteful. We need to work on taking chances, although its great that we create them.We need to not let the crewe defeat and today turn into doom and gloom and then not win a game for a while. Thats what happened after Chelsea.

Pretty critical of Leon.too many poor performances today,we are just not learning how to break down sides like Yeovil,we continually pumped aimless crosses into the box for the tallest centre halfs and keeper I've ever seen, clueless stuff.Sure enough we get punished by a mistake by the totally inept Baker and a lesson in finishing ref Crewe all over again.Robins was quietly fuming and rightly so,he needs to shake some of the players out of the comfort zone.*

if we continue down this vein, we will , without a dobut, lose our greatest asset, which we all know is MARK ROBINS

certainly is an intersting dynamic,

lose 2 in a week, both at home, against crewe and yeovil and people worrying about losing the manager...

Im not saying its wrong, but never seen so much support for a manager who has lost 2 home mataches in a row without scoring

In MR we trust!

Such a shame we didn't bring him in a few years ago when he would have had some level of financial backing,'and it's good that he is intimating that if he has brought a player on that is not performing 100% he is willing to change it.

We need a proven goal scorer in the kevin phillips mould don't need him in the build up just at the end to put the ball in the net.Lineker etc ...
Cody didn't miss that many,he strike rate per chances is probably very good.

We've got the League's top goalscorer!

If it was that simple I'm sure every team would have a Lineker who can score for fun!
