Thought it was Billy Davies?

Funny how time makes your mind plays tricks on you. I remember that game so vividly, and wondering how they were in the play offs (to be fair, I swear big mo was doing his best for us that day). And I've had it stuck in my head that they went up that year and it was Davies that took them up! Didn't, obviously!

What's with the Steven Pressley odds?

Took Falkirk down then failed to get them back up.

I hope I'm wrong, but I could see Paul Jewell getting it. No idea why Pressley is doing so well with the bookies! Irvine is a decent outside bet in that SISU tend to hire people who were on Ranson's shortlist...

What after all this Mark Robins stays with us? It's not been confirmed that he has accepted the offer after almost 24 hours of discussion, it's been rumoured and no more that he will be introduced at some point, until it's clear in black and white I don't wanna rule out our manager staying..

Huddersfield wanted Presley but he rejected the move.

You are totally deluded if you think Robins is staying.......

Get real. He agreed terms last week in all probability. This is a charade.

I don't think he is staying but just thinking if Robins pushed through the option to talk Huddersfield because he was dead certain to take it, then what's with the delay, it also leaves us limbo as a club because I am sure the owners want to hold out some hope that'll he will stay and not look for a new manager should Robins leave and not before

Look I am just thinking if it was me and I was offered the chance to move back North where my family is located, with better financial prospects, career progression and better resources to improve my reputation I would snap it up straight way, I just don't understand the delay in which nothing from either club has been confirmed only that he is holding talks..

In an ideal world I would love it if we managed to get Paul Tisdale.

I second that, but the compensation-and the fact that he didn't seem to figure last time-makes me think it won't happen.

Like I said in a previous thread from living down in Exeter you get the feeling Tisdale is settled in the area, but is on a 2 year rolling deal which expires in 2014, but Exeter are the sort of club that if its the right opportunity they won't stand in the way of Tisdale leaving and have been very supportive of that in the past when he was a front runner for the Derby job before Nigel Clough took it they gave him the same support, I think he would be a great addition and hope the club we at least consider Tisdale as without he has done wonders at Exeter City with a small budget and in the time of success he has, he has only paid money for one player and that was only about £50K

Will Alan Curbishley ever get back into management. Really good manager, hasn't done anything since 2008 with West Ham. I'm not saying we'd have a chance of getting him, just weird that a manager I, and a lot of others, rate highly hasn't got back into it. Not as if he isn't linked with jobs as well!

Probably trying to negotiate some release clause in his new contract so he can screw them over as well

I'd imagine Curbishley has stayed out of football by choice

Another guy I really really wouldn't mind but not sure he would make the change would be Karl Robinson from MK dons, already local and surely we haven't sunk low enough that we can no longer be considered a bigger club than them. Whether he would leave them I dont know but surely worth enquiring.

Graham Alexander win Ratio of around 43% in 18-19 games ,now seriously get Di-Canio.

I was just looking at him Wingy. Not got a long record to go on (see below from Wikipedia), but he was born in Coventry and Fleetwood are pushing for promotion... (we're must still be bigger than Fleetwood, surely???!!!)

Preston North End 14 December 2011 16 January 2012 5 2 2 1 40.00
Fleetwood Town 6 December 2012 Present 11 5 4 2 45.45
Total 16 7 6 3 43.75
