Waggott's phone has not stopped
Coventry City are understood to have received twenty seven applications for the vacant manager's job already.
Speaking to club journalist Kieran Crowley, City's CEO Steve Waggott said; “It is a new chapter we have to look forward to and the search is already on for the new first team manager.
“I think Coventry City will always be a very attractive proposition. “There will be new applicants from managers who have just lost their jobs and I have already had calls from previous applicants wanting to be reconsidered for the job.
“My phone hasn’t stopped ringing but we have to make sure we get the right person in to take on what is a great job in football.”
