I shouldn't make light of any violence, but, did anyone else see the fight down near to the tunnel heading towards Tesco's? A Millwall fan was acting up with his arms out shouting 'come on then you cu''s' in an exaggerated London accent, someone just walked up to him and punched him full on, dropping him flat on his back with a straight right. Fighting is bad but it was fun to see someone trying to intimidate get embarrassed so badly.
Think this is what i saw was it that bloke bout 40 giving it large then got knocked clean out by that lad only about 17

i am agreeded of not making light of violence and do not agree with it at all but would loved to have seen it and even better recorded it for a youtube post :p

There were a few fans filming it with their mobiles so hopefully it will appear RS! And pusbccfc, it sounds about right, a middle aged-ish bloke dropped by what looked to me like a late teen/early 20's at most, in the car park towards the tunnel? It's unlikely but maybe the abusive div might think twice about calling out strangers next time.

I saw it all happen was rather funny tbh, it all started because of a lad from cov robbing a Millwall fans scarf. The Millwall fans then lashed out at the lad chasing him for about twenty yards untill they reached the barrier with all the cov fans behind, then after the exchange of lets say a few choice words between two sets of blokes, the cov fans turned up the heat by ripping up the metal fenching. (I found out afterwads the fencing is heavier than it looks and that's why it wasn't thrown)

Then a couple of fans one being my someone i know (The bald bloke if you were there) just squared up to the few Millwall fans that were there at the time, then some lad ran from the cov fans completely smashed the Millwall fan onto his arse who was giving it loads of mouth, by this time four or five cov fans run in and start throwing digs at the Millwall lot, then the coppers came and just started smashing everyone who was involved with there battens i don't believe any of the main contributers were arrested as lets say they are familiar faces.

But at then end of the day the city got the three points and that's all that matters and my thoughts on it is if these men (And they were men 50+ some of them on Millwall's side) want to have a fight then by all means crack on but don't do it around children and the elderly! :slap:

what a great advert for the game!

On another point no matter how many times I go up there I am still amazed by the tunnel to get into Tesco car park. Health and Safety my arse. I refuse to go through there with my little lad which means my old legs have to walk all the way around!

I totally agree north, both sets of fans should be ashamed of themselves, this mindless violence should not be condoned by anyone, especially on a sky blue site, i come from the game absolutley buzzing because of the football only to be dissapointed by what i witnessed, you may want to have a go at me about this post, i'm not bothered about that, but coventry city doesn't need fans like that. How are we supposed to encourage the younger generation to support the club when they witnessed the scenes on staurday??? PUSB

Yeah I agree on the tunnel, at the occasional game that has bigger crowds, I can't help but conjure memories of the tunnel under the stand at Hillsborough. I worry that if a group of morons stormed through there it'd cause a lot of panic and injury.

We were walking back and saw 1 guy have 6 policemen (or "6 mans" according to the chav near us) jump on him, didn't see why. Then, once we had got to the Tesco carpark 2 chavs started on each other, got arrested and had their wives/mothers/girlfriends screaming at police... all of these people were Cov fans... Woop

Totally with you, we have to get rid of this element from the game. Remember its just a game, yes we get emotional, and caught up in the moment. Nothing wrong with a bit of banter, lots of people I know support different clubs, but would punch them in the face, don't be stupid of course not, we are all football fans at the end of the day, lets remember that

I have never understood the hooligan thing as I am too young but why start a fight in front of police, cameras etc when you will pretty much end getting jail for it?

Why do they not just meet up in a field like the polish do?

Because that way they would actually have to have a proper fight.

I am not sure why anybody would want to brag about it. It isn't big or clever really.

What annoyed me is the blokes with the kids who were trying to get involved, FFS you have your child there and what sort of example is that?

Probably the same as the bloke near me who had his kids with him who kept calling Marlon King a black c*nt all game.....
