Lose 2-1.
I reckon Crewe will score after 20 minutes after us missing lots of early chances.
Crewe are a good side who have already beaten us twice in the last 6 months.

If you go up to Crewe tonight
your sure of a big surprise
for everywhere will be blue and white
we'll give them a jolly good fright
'cause today's the day
the City get to Wembley.

Reminds me it is just about the anniversary of city beating Crewe in an F A Cup replay 4-1 I think I remember that the west end were singing:
Huds boots are made for scoring
and thats just what he'll do
on Tuesday night hes gonna score all over crewe (or similar!!)_

Tune of these boots are made for walking Nancy Sinatra

Brilliant night "27000 plus at Highfield road Those were the days!!!
Come on City bring back the good times PUSB

Just cant see it happening, as much as we all want it to. Its a big ask against a team who are no mugs.

If we win, this place will be a flood of wembley threads, if we lose it will be a flood of crewe muppets who can barely spell their own name. Think ill avoid SBT for a few days regardless of the result.

Praying im wrong on the result but i see a win on the night, but not enough to go through.

It's a tough one. Because we have no option but to attack. I worry we are going to be exposed at the back and Crewe will get us on the counter attack.

Going to take a lot of concentration this game.

My first thoughts are for a win. Can we do enough to go through? I have to say that's very doubtful but our away set up is so good anything could happen if they go 0-2 up after 20 minutes right?
Truth is though I prefer we come away injury free and confidence intact with no major concerns.
The league is a far bigger prize waiting. Promotion must be the number one aim. Players killing themselves to try and turn around a 3 nil deficit could be seen as 'losing your head' at a vital end of the season.
We don't want Carsley to be ruined as a potential manager by some freak results, injuries and a night we could regret.

But we are football fans. We expect our heroes to give it a go and I will be on edge hoping like all of us for a Wembley trip. Sensational if we do and to think what confidence that would give for the league?

I hope the experienced coaching staff will do their part and switch focus quickly if the match is not going our way and reduce the risk in readying ourselves for the league. Let the heads rule the heart is what I'm saying if it looks like we can't turn it around. Then I'll be happy enough to let it slide.

First 20 odd minutes should be fun!
