They werent supporters when we wanted to build the Eicoh though we're they.....

Wasnt Mutton one who was against the building of the Ricoh? (Might be wrong but there was a high up councillor who was extremely against it)

What - great foresight as-in? He guessed we'd end up in this mess???

No he was in favour.

When it comes to politics the public have very strong opinions on things without knowing all the facts.

I have the misfortune to sit near him. If we are relying on him to save us god help us all.

You don't like the look of him? He smells so bad you get his scent? He sits so near he's on your lap? I know nothing about him Myself. What are you basing your judgement of him on?

He turns up on a cold afternoon in February and looked as gutted as any city fan. Where were the others today? Needed some encouragement today and didn't get it!! Seppalla not there, bet the acl bloke wasn't but mutton was!

He is leader of a city council. Personally I believe that role should require a degree of gravitas and presence. He has neither - he looks like a tramp and is not articulate.

Do you think he is an effective council leader and ambassador for the local community? Because I don't.

Sounds like most of Warwickshire CC, tbf! And anyway, Tim (or Tom as he's known to his mates) and Waggsy just look like fat slobs.

I did state that i may have been wrong on that count! That said i just don't like people in politics, no matter who they support!

All very self obsessed and dont do anything for the public unless it suits them!

Its quite easy to support things in the local community.......if it means winning votes.

John Mutton goes regularly, as do other Cllrs. George Duggins, Dave Chater, Kevin Maton, Lindsley Harvard. And not one of them sits in anything other than a regular seat.

Sorry, not me. I have a 55 plate Saab with 145,000 on the clock. And no personalised plate.

As I remember it, in 2003 the Labour party wanted to support building it and the Conservatives in the hung council opposed it.

Public opinion was clearly in favour and several ill Labour councillers got out of their sick beds to vote and with independants support the vote was carried in favour.

I actually emailed a Cons. Counciller of mine to ask their party to support the deal, but they didn't. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/coventry_warwickshire/3198884.stm

I know only his name...nothing about him so can't comment on that.

Well what would you expect of an ex bin man as a council leader also with a history of an assault charge made against him.
