I see from his twitter he's flown back to france, now im sure he will play instead of Cameron at the weekend, surely carsley doesnt want his players leaving the country during the week when they are supposed to be fit and raring to go for traning. I know wednesday is their day off i believe, but still i wouldnt want my players leaving the country?

As you say they have Wednesday off so i think they should be allowed to do what they like. (within reason obviously!)

You can so it in a day if the have a day off training. He could fly off after training then return the following night.

Roy keane used to do it at Utd

Yeah but come on, travelling has an effect on your body? Flying to france and back in a day? really...

If he's not missing work I can't see a problem. Going home to see friends and family is way down the list of inadvisable things footballers can do with free time.

What effect are you expecting? It's practically next door and you'd spend longer sat around if you watched The Godfather.

I served with the forces for a bit, if we got a couple of days off i hated travelling back home to then go back for all of 2 days it was a nightmare!

How fascinating.

A lot of people fly to other countries and back in the same day, it is no different than going on a car journey.

It is rather isnt it,

If he had been playing well then yes, but hes hardly been a standout player

So the better someone plays, the more relaxed you are about them travelling short distances?

Suppose as long as their back for traning then there isnt a problem, i personally wouldnt fly out of the country, then again i dont have family in france.

Happens all the time all the time, After Saturday matches if you got to Birmingham airport you will often see players Villa/ Albion/ Blues getting flights to their homes in the Canaries, Algarve, Puerto Benaus. Come back on the Monday which is often a day off. Nice life if you can get it.
