Or ..

Board: We would like to offer you the position of manager.

Elvis: Thank you, but I would just like to ask if I can about guarantees on the club's future stability for the foreseeable years ahead.

Board: No problem. We can give a cast iron guarantee that CCFC will fulfill all its fixtures for the rest of season up to and including the Scunthorpe game this Saturday.

There's one reason only why I'm against his appointment; these sodding Elvis puns! I don't know why they annoy me so much, but it might be because Elvis Presley has always really annoyed me. I just don't get the hype, he was crap..

Well, it's one for the money,
Two for the show,
Three to get ready,
Now go, cat, go

But don't you step on my Sky Blue shoes.
You can do anything but lay off of my Sky Blue shoes.

;)

Now now Don't be Cruel, let's give him a chance

Don't ask me Why but I think this guy will do us good, just as long as he's Steadfast, Loyal and True to the Sky Blue way!

Now lets Shake, Rattle and Roll cause (Now and then there's) A fool such as I who dreams I'm Gonna Walk Dem Golden Stairs back to the glory of the premiership lol :D

The Elvis puns will annoy me for the opposite reason than nonleague gave. Elvis is treated as some sort of joke when he was a legendary talent.
Sinatra, Ella, Duke, Lennon etc don't get this infantile coverage. Those who are too young to remember Elvis will never take him seriously, which is a pity. So
Don't be cruel

"We thought you were dead, we thought you were dead, Mr Pressley we thought you were dead!"

But seriously how long until people starting attending games dressed as Elvis?

Id take good old Fishey Moores back above any of those garbage bars along their now any day!!!

Hell yes!

I was gutted when they remodelled that whole area.

I knew the owners of Fishey Moorse as my family and I went there regularly from when I was a kid.

The guy who owned it tried to carry on the business in the Co-op but couldn't call it Fishey Moorse and because of it's location, it just fell apart. Shame really :(

The Hippadrome was anothing thing that I was angry about! Yeh it's nice what they did with the Car Museum but did they really have to sacrifice the Hippadrome to do it!

And that Clock thingy is pointless! I mean what does it do for this city?

Nothing thats what!!!

So many better things they could have done with that space!!

Been away all week. I don't know much about Pressley either. Can anyone fill me in on where this nick name came from?

glad he's come here instead of chelsea

"Elvis's Sky Blue Army is here to stay?" "We can't stand up for falling down (the divisions)?"

I once sold a copy of the Notting Hill soundtrack in MVC in Leamington to Mo Konjic; he was looking for the version of "She" by Elvis Costello. Possibly the highlight of my working life!

I bought a pair of Vegas Elvis sunglasses at the top of the Space Needle seven years ago. Now suddenly my purchase makes sense.
