Only because the fans do not want it.

At Hull, Doncaster etc. Mutton would indeed have his appointment with the Whicker Man.
Trust fisher less than mutton but doesn't matter, they will not deal with sisu

We support CCFC not SISU or ACL or CCC. You seem to equate SISU with CCFC which is making you Myopic.

Who are Sisu then? Because they've been funding my club for a few years. They are a set of thundercunts, no doubt. But I like supporting my club, so as things stand. They are my club.

Can't disagree with that well said for a change !!!

Well it was aimed at you and your ilk. I doubt if you even understand the concept of idealism.

Who owns CCFC?
SISU are current owners. We owe no more loyalty to them than we do to the owners of any business we frequent. Do you feel loyal to the owners and shareholders of Wetherspoons, Tesco, Nike, Microsoft, Samsung etc?

No, because I haven't been supporting Tesco since the age of 3. I haven't cried when Tesco run out of sausage rolls. I haven't bonded with my father at the checkout. I haven't travelled the country in a Tesco shirt. I don't give a shit about Tesco.

So again, the answer is no.

Wetherspoon, Tesco et al make massive profits. If the business wasn't a football club it would have been shut down years ago.

I don't feel any loyalty to hose brands you mentioned...

Lower rent agreement is in the best interests of CCFC, regardless of who owns the club, but there are many who are blinded with their anti-SISU zeal, they miss this and support a party that is forcing the club to sign a diktat (among the club) which goes against the club's best interests, great fans we have!

Yes but football clubs are businesses; we all realised that when we kept selling all our decent players long ago. If SISU cannot run the business, despite allegedly pouring in millions, you would expect them to move aside and let someone else. If they have bought a pup which they cannot sell they have no one to blame but themselves. They have had 5 years. There is a deal to be done but they don't seem to want to strike it.

We seem to have a lot of fans who are a strange mixture of Scousers and Geordies. The self-pity and paranoia of there being a media conspiracy against us, mixed in with 'we really are the best fans in the country, we have great support' delusion of Newcastle.

In reality our fans are a strange bunch and part of our suffering over the years probably comes from the attitude of the supporters. Nowhere else in the country would you have the attitude you have on here, the prospect of having a fan representative on the board of CCFC would genuinely horrify me.

So there should be a revolving door of owners who are happy to spend money on a club and then leave quietly when their money runs out?

Forgive me Taylor, but we could have been taken to the cleaners a long time before now. If ACL really wanted the club wiped off the map it could have pushed to do so long before now. Do you honestly believe that SISU will wind the club up over not being able to get £100k/year for nothing?

You need to mix with a few Villa, Albion or Wolves fans. Our fans are more level headed but just as cynical.

Be mindful it's mainly on here and the telegraph. Everyone, and I mean everyone I speak to about it in 'real life' in the pub, at work, home and away, are not anti Sisu. There are no anti Sisu songs at games these days. Everyone wants a resolution.

How did you draw that conclusion?
We have little influence on who buys and sells football clubs. Ask Pompey fans.

ACL couldn't just wipe the club off the map, because they'd damage their business venture, possibly even threaten it's viability to.

Do I think SISU would wind up the club over that? Hmmmm, I'd need to have a look at the club's finances first, but I'll answer the question posed in short: no. But quite clearly, it's more than that, it's also the reduction of rent and debt written off, they're are the stumbling blocks at the moment, which CCFC need, and if ACL can't give up after profiteering in CCFC's time of need, we can all drop the it's the 'poor old council and democratically elected charity' bullshit because they would've acted in a manner similar to the 'capitalists' ACL aren't supposed to be. In this case now, ACL are essentially bullying the club to sign an agreement they don't want to sign, nor shouldn't, as it's unsatisfactory and SISU are using the club as a pawn in this 'high stakes chess game' to get it's way, and if ACL are 'compassionate CCFC fans' they'd surely give up meagre claims (on their part) to save the club, surely? Furthermore, I think SISU's position is becoming untenable with ACL, ACL are proving to be just as unreasonable as SISU with regards to their dealing of the situation, a deal would've been agreed months ago, possibly even had 50% share in ACL if SISU weren't our owners, the whole hypocrisy of this scenario. ACL are trying to point scoring with SISU and whilst doing so, are blind, or do not care about the club's best interests - take your pick.

For someone so intelligent, you can't be dumbing this down to such an extent on purpose, unless you're trying to catch people out, helping your argument - it isn't just over 100k and you know it.

ACL is a commercial company, not a charity. Its aim is to make money. Of course they're capitalists. Don't confuse the issue.

I'm happy you said that, you haven't quite realised what you've done - shattered a few myths.

If it's made up of a charity and a democratically elected, 'Socialist', Council, which people have pointed out in a way to have a dig at the 'evil capitalists' (as if you can have a 'good capitalist!?) SISU, you'd think they'd be willing to help out a needy club in it's time of need, hey, I was wrong.

have exhaustively read the opinions on this thread, all i want & have ever wanted is the best for CCFC, not the best for any of the parties concerned,
i'm sure it's all down to who you want to believe in the most,
i think we should have a popularity vote based upon their believable levels,
candidates;
SISU,
CCC,
ACL,
Higgs,
then follow that with a vote on all of the major individuals involved, and their credibility,
JS,
TF,
JM,
DG - follow on,
PWKH,
etc.,

Why should the club not benefit from all revenue generated by their own supporters? Anyone looking to buy the club would expect the same as well.

The anti-sisu sentiment is so strong amongst our supporters that they are against what is best for their football club. Bizarre.

Because they sold those rights for £6m. They sold their entitlement. Yet they should get it back for free?

Hardly the actions of a 'charity', is it?

And we wouldn't have had a club at all after "Mr Worse Than SISU" Richardson, if it hadn't been for that charity and the council.

Mmm...if you ran a poll on here with "Which side is Jan on? ACL or SISU", I think 100% would tick the ACL box.

It's about being independent and wanting the best for the Club. You certainly don't come across as independent and not wanting our current custodians to get a slice of the stadium - by writing to Mutton - shows that you certainly don't want the best for the club. You just want SISU out, whatever the consequences are.

Which is why he doesn't trust SISU, and nor should anybody. The whole point is that the situation the club is in has not been caused by ACL, it's been caused by SISU's bully-boy tactics. You speak as if the whole rent debacle is a result of big bad ACL bullying a poor little Hedge Fund, when it's our owners that have been acting in the spirit of their selfish money-grabbing nature leading to illegal actions. They are not CCFC, they are not suitable custodians of a football club and they in no way have our best interests at heart. That's why Jan is very suspicious of them. One day the penny will drop..you're being passionate for completely the wrong reasons.
