Didn't someone write a book on Richardson but it can't be published? I'm sure I read that somewhere. I think it was called "Richardson Is A Crook".

It happened once after a defeat against Grimsby. Two seasons prior to that Richardson actually had votes received in the player of the season award.

There was certainly no such angst aimed at fletcher Elliot and co yet the debt mountain they accumulated was far worse and that with crowds exceeding 20,000. Also there was outrage at playing Leon best when we had not paid him, not paying the revenue and not paying other local creditors.

Fair point although I think the protests against Richardson started a few years before that though! 1993...94? I think it was in a Sky TV game against Sheffield United with fans with banners getting in front of the directors box shouting sack the board and costing us a takeover by a multi billionaire Arab sheikh if the great bullshit merchant is to be believed! ;-)

That is correct though it was a week after Gould's departure famously captured sitting on a toilet after a game at Loftus Road.

To fuel the fire I believe Gould was in the Sky box that game.

Getting Gould out of the club for the final time was probably Richardson's finest hour.

Couldn't agree with you more about that!
