Just wanted to say congratulations to first of all.

But also wanted to add what a pleasure it was being at the game today, full house, both sets of fans in full voice, and also how accomodating the Norwich fans were in the walk up to the game. We (city fans) were welcomed into bars, and had good conversation with the Norwich fans! Dont no how many others walked through the through way from Frankie n Bennies , past weatherspoons etc, but the atmosphere was one to be jealous of. Such. Shame there would be no way of creating such an atmosphere prior to games at the Ricoh. Heres hopin the atmosphere we experienced inside the ground can be brought to the Ricoh!!

Fully agreed. Was great to be a part of it all today. The place was certainly buzzing and was matched with a very good game of football in which Cov were at times the better side:)

Totally agree - cracking game & fantastic atmosphere both inside & outside the ground. Was soooo jealous it wasn't us. Also agree we were the better team at times & if we keep performing the way we did today & in the last few games, there's no reason why we shouldn't be contenders for promotion (apart from lack of decent players & no money that is lol!).

PUSB!

Always a good day at norwich....well its not like going to millwall is it? They are just footy fans the same as us. They've always been a good crowd.

Am glad that the Cov fans seemed to enjoy their day at Norwich. I was in the away end with the Cov. lot as I couldn't get a home ticket AND I work in Coventry during the week and drive past the Ricoh every day, so thought "why not?" As it was, there seemed to be quite a few Norwich fans in the Cov. end but nothing came if it. Didn't think it would, as there's not really much history between the two clubs and there was nothing to win/lose for either team that game either.

The atmosphere was quite impressive and I do think that Coventry had the better of the game. Our defence wasn't really up to much and our midfield only seemed to be interested in going forwards. I did think that Cov may win it 0-1 and overall 2-2 was probably a bit lucky for Norwich but both sets of fans seemed to be happy with that and 4 goals in 10 minutes livened things up a bit.

We were dissapointed to lose Clingan a few seasons ago and thought we'd struggle in League 1 without him. Still, who wants to play in League 1?

What's the deal with some of the blokes wearing Fezes? I understand the Lady Godiva theme that some of the women wore.

All the best for next season.

This thread is mentioned here where some complain about a number of fans trying to drown out Lambert's speech.

I particularly like how in a thread about lack of class regarding some chants after a football match, someone makes a gag of bombing raids that killed hundreds of innocent people. Nothing like taking the high road.

Watch me not use this to launch a diatribe about Norwich:

Disappointing read on there, obviously a few bitters - you would have thought they would have not needed to vent like that after their promotion, but I guess all teams have their idiots (god knows we have plenty of them). Surely they can understand that it's not the majority without needing to get so personal and nasty about things? Doesn't show a lot of class and doesn't look very bright.

Shame really because they're generally a decent lot so we won't sink to that level and still wish them all the best next season. As I've said on a different post, it's like a minutes silence when you play a team. They don't hear the thousands standing respectfully silent but the few idiots who shout out and suddenly everyone is booed and all tarred with the same brush.

He's Scottish so I doubt they would have understood him anyway :)

I thought it was quite funny to be honest. It was done to drown out lambert, just a bit of fun being blown out of all proportion! In my opinion I paid £66 for two tickets, spent a total of five hours of my weekend driving to and from a football match, I'll sing what I want when I want! It's not our fault the mic wasn't loud enough to drown out probably 3 to 4 hundred max Cov fans left singing at the end.Norwich fans became far to personal on their forum cos we weren't invited to there party but we made ourselves seen and heard on and off the pitch! Well tough bloody tits!

Would seem to be the pot calling kettle black considering Andy Turners report in the CT calls the abuse directed at King the vilest this season.

Really shouldnt take themselves so seriously and enjoy their teams achievement. Well done to them........ but get over it.

Did all of their players manage to stay in their feet during the lap of honour?

Holt didn't trip and run to the ref did he?

Incidentally, the same person making the Blitz gag also apparently has said '"If I pay £28-£33 for a ticket, I reserve the right to cheer, boo, sing the entire works of Fleetwood Mac at the top of my voice or question the parentage of Paul Lambert."'

So surely he shouldn't have a problem with it.

It's a shame when people take the actions of the few and then swipe at the many. I like Norwich and hope they do well.

What a sad bunch of miserable t*ssers. Still living in the wastelands, or the a*se end of England must do that to you.

Cant believe they have been promoted and are still crying over some singing.
Perhaps if they collectively grew some balls they might stop bleating so much.

As for the jokes on their website...oh so original:facepalm:
