Can anyone try to convince me that this man is any good at football. My opinion is he can't tackle score pass attack defend and goalkeeping. He's a loanee and our season now finished now so send him back and let's give Connor or someone else a chance.

He is a good passer of the ball but struggling badly at the moment, I get the impression he was a Robins favourite and hasn't reacted well to the managerial changes

he was great when he first came, gone off the boil lately, he was great friday.

i agree with sending ALL the loan players back.

He was excellent until he got injured, so to say he can't play football is all a bit daft.

Can only assume that he's been carrying a knock since he came back. We did rush him back early as I recall.

I seem to be the only supporter who's thought him a lazy and soft weakness in midfield since day 1. The odd bit of magic and little else...

He was the topic of debate between two city fans yesterday, ended with a mini sideshow Bob trying to hit one of them.

i agree that he's gone off the boil and strongly agree with the fact that all our loanees should go back to their parent clubs ...

i feel sorry for the kidz like c.thomas, j.clarke, c.wilson etc because these are the players we're going to be left with nxt season when everyone is sold on or contract ended to save money and these guys need to get the mins under the belts asap. i even think there better then what we're starting with now ...

I know what you mean, but someone like Thomas is a lot more of a saleable asset than say Jennings, for example.

i agree .. for liverpool to offer a £1m 2 years ago shows the potential, SISU were quick to sell then .. didnt Hoffman quit because of that??? ... CT suffered from homesickness so we might get lucky and keep him!!

Are you saying the club rejected an offer of £1 million?

Yeah and if so why the heck didn't we accept?? At the time, he was a 16-year old who had endured a nightmare debut in the cup defeat at Brum. Sad to say he has hardly progressed since

It was hardly a nightmare debut. Before the game I was worried that we had an untried youth player in our team, but individually, he had a decent game considering they were PL at the time.

It was a undisclosed but leaked £250,000 rising to 1m if he played for England, walked on the moon or discovered a new type of time travel type deal.

He has definitely progressed.

Should be in the team.

I would drop Bailey now and pick CT instead...but he doesn't fill me with excitement. He deserves a run, but I'm not holding high hopes

He was poor yesteday, looked lost. Couldnt stamp his authority on the pitch.I do generally like him though and with a bit of work and confidence, he could be good.

What the hell is that based on? This just seems like deja vu but replace Chris Dunn for Connor Thomas and Joe Murphy for James Bailey.

Bailey is a decent midfielder at this level currently out of form. I'd definitely take him on a free transfer next season (I believe his contract is running out at Derby).

I do however agree Thomas is due a run out in the side. Perfect time to do so as well.

Bailey's contract runs out in 2014, Derby renewed by 1 year to protect their investment, if he's available on a cheap, I'd consider signing him.

thats how it is, we don`t draw the crowds to be able to keep them, they want to move on and play at a higher level, can`t blame them, Murphy out next, Lambert`s been down to see him.

... No doubt you'll be proud to see your tinpot club sell yet another player.

I don't think any Coventry fans went onto the Newcastle forums bragging that we sold Bigi!

Wow - could you be anymore ignorant and arrogant with that statement?

At least they're not in administration. We're a selling club and have always been a selling club.

No one gives a shit that Bailey played at Crewe once, why is this BLAKESCREWE still lingering on this board? He's obviously here on the windup, stupid posts get treated with contempt.

I've never said CCFC aren't a selling club, because in reality, every club in the world is a selling club except the very elite, but, I, nor other CCFC fans, nor other clubs' fans' brag about being a selling club like Crewe, it's stupid, I weren't proud when we old: Best, Dann, Fox, Gunnarsson, Westwood (well, letting him go), Bigi, Thomas (looked like it), Keogh etc. I was angry because them leaving left gaps in the team.

Calm down Liam. It was more the fact he's probably and rightly proud of their academy.

Liam!? He might be, but why is he on SBT? He is on the wind-up and should be treated with contempt.
