either thinking he tries hard.... or a dig at the present squad...(was previously talking with gunnar about when he was here)

"@heyitsMatty:mad:sheebagee@arongunnarsson1 but the squad we have now is better I think.. just you all need to try harder" r u serious?"

even if he thinks that does it really need to be said?

Looking at it in context he is 100% right, if we'd kept all the players he mentioned (in the same team) we wouldn't have been in the crap situation we are in now. I'm glad hes being so honest about it tbh.

Agree 100%, but for one reason they all left or were forced out.

Congratulations to Aron though on helping the shaggers of the sheep to Promotion of the Premier League.. :D:D;);):whistle:

i would put him upfront for the rest of the season as it cannot be as bad as the current options (or can it....) :thinking about:

'heyitsMatty' thinks the squad we have now is better than one containing the likes of Keogh, Westwood, Gunnarsson and co?

Not exactly, because they were needed to be sold to fund the club off the field. Unless you have a magical solution to the massive debts if we kept them players. In Gunnar's + Westy's case, they honoured their contracts and moved onto 'bigger tingz' (if you've watch anuvahood, you'll get it! :D ) and I hate to say it, we were stagnant when they were here, stagnant in the bottom 6.

I was very sad to see all of those great talents leave, but they were going nowhere at CCFC, it shows; Dann, Fox, Gunnar, Westy, Turner and Best have played in the prem after leaving us. Sad reality hat is hard to take.

Where were we when Joe Elliot and the Hoff left?

Lingering in and around relegation. Your point? No, in fact, I know your point, it's a very precarious link to our position now.

Something Elliott has got on his hands that no one else has; he's been on boards for 20 odd years, he's been part of failed regime after failed regime.

What did he do to become a hero? (Serious question)

Plus Tabb, Henderson and Cork....

Tabb was homesick....a 45 minute train journey to London was too far for him....plus neither Henderson nor cork were our players and both went on to play PL football straight after leaving us.

SISU didn't stump up the cash for Henderson and Cork. We were offered both on a perm

Fair enough. He's been rubbish this season. I don't think he or any player goes onto the pitch and says "I think I'll play rubbish today"

No he s just been shit. Disgrace would infer he s not tried.

That's what ranson said....can we 100% believe him? From what I remember Bruce wanted to have a look at Henderson then put him straight in the first team.
