The Trust arranged the Protest, but if people cannot get there, they cannot force them. You couldn't get there because you're 135 miles away, I couldn't 'cos I didn't get out of work in festa until gone 18:00, therefore we (You and I) have no right to have ago at others that couldn't. Just praise the ones that did!!

I m not a member that is true and haven't let me down in person. But as a outsider looking in they seem to be dragging their feet. All I hear is another statement from the Trust.
Action speaks louder than words . And so far the actions have gone they've not really been up to much.
I know I should not keep having a pop, and wish I lived closer so maybe I could have some input into any protests but talking to these people in any form will not work . That's all party s
I am totally behind ENoUGH IS ENOUGH as I refuse to hold a season ticket again or go to the Ricoh until they are removed
So I look to the people of Coventry to do something about our situation and get it sorted ASAP. and the Trust are in this position to do something about it !!

I was the Aylesbury bloke there tonight (with one of my sons). I was one of those invited, after having spoken to TF on the phone a couple of weeks ago, I made it clear then, in the survey and tonight that I would not renew my season ticket if we were to be moved outside of Cov, however I’m not against a ground move away from the Ricoh in the long term, along as we remain in Cov in the meantime, whilst a suitable/accessible venue is sorted out. Again, this was pressed home tonight.
I agree with most of what lifelongcityfan has put, although I don’t recall TF actually saying that the ground share wouldn’t be with Walsall, he indicated that there were 3 options, although wouldn’t clarify exactly where. Likewise he wouldn’t say much about the new ground, apart from that they have employed someone who was involved in the design of the Reebok stadium. He confirmed that they are currently in the bidding process for land to build on.
As expected TF was very personable, but didn’t really tell us much that we didn’t know already. He couldn’t answer some questions (mainly historical stuff) and avoided others. He didn’t really have much of an answer to questions relating to FFP and the massive drop in income streams associated with crowds around the 2k mark.
TF was quite adamant in stating that CCFC is not for sale,but also that this has never been raised in any agenda’s/conversation with SISU. I believe that SISU will be here for the foreseeable future and that once they have re-acquired CCFC Ltd, then they will be in a position to talk again with ACL. I’ll be surprised if we’re not playing at the Ricoh next season.
Two issues which are not easy to reconcile are that the SISU are looking and treating this as a business (they have to) whilst we the fans have a far greater emotional attachment, which we need to continue to drum home in the right manner.
TF believes that there are plenty of players out there which will are available cheaply and will make us competitive throughout any transition. I’m actually in agreement with this, which is why Pressley is onboard and has bought into. He does believe that the Academy’s status is underthreat and that we may become a Centre of Excellence.
TF was made well aware of the fans feelings, which he knew anyway to be fair. He was also made aware of the PR gaffs that have taken place and that they could learn from the recent humble reaction of the Everton board with regard to their proposed change of badge. A full time PR guru wouldn’t go amiss and may get some of the fans back on board.

If your still around Steve what is the Trusts opinion of Yesterdays meeting ? Do you sense a shift in approach from the Admin ? Do you think he's showing a more balanced/Neutral view and more importantly following the remit of administrator to the letter?
Was thinking that aswell.didnt fisher say today that he was getting frustrated with the meetings and bids being put back two weeks.are they starting to have doubts in THEIR appointed administrator?
I'm surprised he could'nt enlarge on some of the devastating Historical stuff as he was referring to it this Morning on the Radio giving the specific date Dec 19th 2003 board resolution.
Must be keeping that powder dry or maybe its not that devastating in a small group. The other odd thing is suggesting that not being for sale has never cropped up in communication with /SISU which occurs between him and Joy @ the very least every other day.

Not related, he also stated he didnt need to spend any money on palyers as there are plenty spare..my response is that will only keep us in the 3rd Division, and would not get us in or keep us in teh championship shoule we return.
I also told him that we will more lilely be relegated if we do not invest.
btw, he stated that the judicial review was going to cost c100k!!! we challenged why this would not be better spent on players

My problem is that everything is from there perspective and not any one else's, not talking to ACL and the Higgs centre could cause the academy status to be lost and football never to be played in the city's boundaries again! Didnt the trust mention a change in personal could be a way forward?
Also listening to the new bid for limited it seems to me they will be willing to talk to holdings! I still take these meetings as proposed plans, untill the administration period is over!

agreed...he started giving us a history lesson about Highfield Rd etc, but to be honest SISU should have done their due diligence at the point of takeover ( buyer beware etc) and that it wasnt that difficult to suss out whats what when you but a football club.
My own personal view is that he trying to lay the blame at other peoples doorstep and justify sisu's position.

Fisher was told that there should be a change of personnel on both sidess Sisu/Acl on tuesday presumably he didnt take me up on the suggestion to get in touch with Acl

I was there tonight and I felt that every fan there made excellent points. Lifelong tied him in knots at times and Bucks got his comments across very well.
For those that were there, am I right in saying Fisher stated that Ltd wasn't worth a lot but they may show their interest at some point (or words to that effect anyway)?
I must say that Stacey who works for the club got very emotional during the meeting and it goes to show how much it effecting some within. She's Sky Blue through and through and it must be very difficult for her and others on a daily basis.

Another one here that was at the meeting, from Bedworth. I was one of the original 4 that went in.

They just received a letter saying ACL/CCC would no longer deal with them. At this point I did challenge him to put this letter on the website as proof for all to see but would need legal advice 1st.

He did state that it was worthless, and i bet him that holdings would bid for it! and that they would pay the 60 ( debt/equity swop..no actaual cash changing hands) , at that point he looked uncomfortable, but he did agree that they would be bidding

i feel a bit better myself, I went there as a protestor ( as with most on her the club has been a mssive part of my life), I only got invited in because my daughter (16) was with me and everyone thought it would be good to have someone from the younger generation present.
It was good to tell fisher what I thought of his plans/state of the club etc. I probably overdid it; however as an accountant myself I felt justified in doing a bit of a" jeremey paxman" on him. Although I probably had more to say than most.
What was good, was that we collectively ( 10 ) of us- had the opporuinity to vent our frustrations and tell it at it is.
For me , it got some of it off my chest. For us, I think he is realising that groundshare will be a major issue.
I didnt hear anything new from him, but my own belef is that they are still after the Ricoh or upping the selling price.
I said to him that I did not understand why a hedge fund would hang around a further 5 yrs plus, sink 40 mill in before making a profit. he did'nt really provide a good answer.

Sure SISU will try and take control of Ltd out of administration but I don't think you can read too much into Appleton having emailed him to say the deadline had changed. They are after all the biggest creditor and most recent owner, I would expect the administrator to be keeping SISU up to date with the administration.
