Why Fisher's assertions are just hot air (6 Viewers)

Having spoken to the FA about 18 months ago, and indeed had anyone spoken to them, they would know that the Football League is effectively autonomous from the FA.

As such, any "GOLDEN SHARE" to play in the Football League is at the discretion of the FA. The FA IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS have said time and time again anything to deal with Football League matters (be it Dulux sitting in the dug out or administration) will be dealt with by the Football League and NOT the FA!

This is the key bit. From Friday's farce, one glint of useful info was let out by Mr Fisher. His contention is that his claim is valid it seems based solely on the fact that the FA accepted registrations under holdings NOT Ltd. But thing is it is down to the LEAGUE NOT THE FA where the share for CCFC is handed out to!

If this were politics, then the FA are the house of lords, and the League as far as CCFC are concerned is Parliament. Sure Sisu could appeal to the FA if the decision goes against them, however it will be unprecedented for the FA to reverse a decision the league has made regarding the issue of the share; as the share issue is ultimately at DISCRETION - it is NOT a legal entity that can be bought or sold separately - Sisu NEVER OWNED the share - it was AWARDED!

Now I suspect Fisher knows this, which is why he is trying so desparately hard to convince everyone that the share is theirs by some divine right. Sadly for them this is not and never was the case.

The problem is however, is that by using scare tactics (as he has done throughout their time at ccfc incidentally) is making some fans desparate, which would probably explain why a few actually voted FOR a move away from the ricoh.

The thing is, let's assume for a moment worst case a stadium is built outside of coventry (AGAINST FA RULES - one of the things FA takes precedence over the FL), then city will have gone from a 23k to a 37k to an 11K stadium!). While those who are not looking long term will think this is fine as we only currently have 10K attendances, what will happen if we have dare I say it success?

Sure it will be full houses game after game, but an 11K ground in the championship? How long would city last under FFP? It would mean more money would need to be invested in either extending the stadium, or WORSE yet ANOTHER move!

Are fans really prepared to have FOUR grounds in less than 10-15 years? They moan about multiple managers, having multiple grounds is just unthinkable. 2 is enough - we are NOT nomads!

Clearly either sisu haven't truly thought this out, or it is bluster. There is NO WAY yet another ground OUTSIDE (even if it is 1/4 mile outside) the city of coventry is acceptable.

Trouble is whilst there is an awful lot of bluster, those football groups whose very existence was supposedly JUST to save the club as a LAST RESORT are failing to do what they were set up to do.

Constantly demanding to be an arbitrator is NOT repeat NOT saving the club. If either side genuinely wanted to sit down and talk, a far more suitable moderator could easily be found. Which kind of puts into question their entire credibility and their entire existence is pointless.

Even if you contend that they need to be able to talk with sisu, and for the sake of argument sisu stay and even more for the sake of argument they give them their desired free place on the board (which I highly doubt) do they HONESTLY think sisu would listen to a word they say? Have they listened AT ALL - How did the turning down of the tannoy go?

It just really amuses me that they still believe talks with sisu are a good thing! Even if you discount that they voted 99% for NEVER having anything to do with sisu and yet they STILL say they will sit down and talk with sisu (utterly disproving that they are democratic - indeed it is showing they are DESPOTIC, as they are going AGAINST 99% of their membership who voted AGAINST having anyting more to do with sisu).

But hey if any member or anyone else CAN complain to them directly - just as long as you are prepared to pay £500 FOR THEM TO INVESTIGATE THEMSELVES!

(Maybe this is why they are releasing their trolls over the internet, perhaps it is another one of their drives to get funds into the clique!)

Instead of trying to justify yourselves becaus ethey cannot organise anything effectively, perhaps they should concentrate on raising funds for a purchase of the ricoh - which after all WAS their stated aim. Indeed the same trolls who are aggressively trying to justify the unjustifiable now are the SAME trolls who were so vehement that their ONLY goal was to act as a last resort.

Trouble for the clique, is that somewhere along the road reality kicked in, and they realised as I had told them time after time, that they will NEVER EVER be able to acquire the necessary funds to put a bid in for the ricoh.

They REFUSED to listen, and than as now simple tried pitiful personal attacks and hate filled jibes. In secret however they had to admit I was right, and now they are in the utterly absurd position of clamouring for a seat on the board, yet having to pretend they submit to the will of their members.

It isn't difficult. YOUR membership DOES NOT want ANYTHING to do with SISU. Even by offering to chair talks you are defying the will of YOUR membership.

How is that NOT total betrayal of YOUR membership.

I'm not the one who is letting down the trust - it is the troll on the board and withing their group, that are acting in a contrary way to their stated goal of being

"OPEN HONEST AND DEMOCRATIC"

Open - FAILED (asking for meetings in private and REFUSING to have them out in the open!)

Honest - FAILED (Telling people they will condemn and ACTIVELY route out anyone acting in an aggressive manner. This forum's trust trolls puts this one into the dustbin!)

Democratic - FAILED (99% say NOTHING to do with sisu yet still wanting talks with them!)

If the trust were a working animal, it would have been put down for being lame. Roll on the "what have you done" or " at least they are doing....." BS. Truth is they are NOT doing and they have NOT done! That is PRECISELY why they deserve our derision.

At least the forums are exposing them for wht the tuly are.

Well said, the only point I think I would want to expand on a bit is democracy......in football it is more to do with spin and results.

Have you ever posted a short comment psgm? ;)

Would hate to live your house.

WIFE: PSGM, what do you want for breakfast, cereal or toast?

PSGM: Cereal has it's nutritional value and it is something I do like to sometimes enjoy of a morning, but I don't like it eat it everyday and always seek a degree of balance in my diet.

Toast on the other hand is always quick and easy and I traditionally have favoured a slice of toast with my tea in the mornings. Sometimes I don't have tea in the mornings though and have coffee instead. Coffee is not something I usually have with toast.

If I am having coffee I would prefer a croissant or an English muffin with jam. The jam would need to be strawberry though. It's not that I dislike other jams, but I have a preference for strawberry alongside all others. If strawberry is not available then I would plump for raspberry instead. It is not quite the same though.

I will never have cereal and toast together for my breakfast and it has to be an either or scenario for me. Combining the two would leave my slightly bloated and would produce a knock on effect as the day unfolded.

Therefore, on the question of whether I would like cereal or toast for breakfast, I think I will need to phone the trust and see what they have to say on the matter.

WIFE: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Stop using fucking capital letters to make your points, it winds me right up. I'll interpret what you say how I want not how you tell me to.

Your posts are actually quite amusing. You start off with some good points and reasoned debate, but then you go all out attack on the trust and it shows that you have a real hatred of them. Can I ask, did they upset you when you were part of the save our city group?

Why did you say we're currently in a 37,000 seater stadium? Don't you know how many seats the Ricoh has?

Yep. He counted them.

Obviously yet another occasion where his missus could have been rogered and spit roasted by the Sky Blue Trust committee several times in a row without his knowledge.

I understand where psgm1 is coming from. I attended the original save-our-city meetings at the Hen Lane social club and the re-birth meetings of the Trust at the Squirrel. Most of those who attended the soc meetings were, are genuine people, concerned about their club, wanting to do something to get change. But i sussed early on their were individuals, or even shall i say an individual whose sole desire was to get on to the board, have dialect with Fisher, become Mr Important. Talking to Fisher was not popular with most, I spoke strongly against it as Fisher would eat them for breakfast, say things they wanted to hear and nulify soc who were just a little pressure group of like minded fans tryng to save their club. The floor was against it, but it happened, consequently that in my opinion killed off the soc and attendances plumeted to half a dozen or so. Things moved on and the Trust was reincarnated and i think have a roll in modern day football, but can only ever be a pressure group, i went to those early meetings at the Squirrel too and again most of those there were genuine people only wanting to as they saw it save their club, nothing at all wrong with that, but again the same people were looking to have dialect with the club (sisu) get on the board eventually, i gave it a few meetings but don't bother now. As i see things no dialect whatsoever should occur with Tim Fisher, ever, he has quiet openly been shall i say economical with the truth and doesn't bat an eye when it is pointed out to him as seen at these forums.

Don't get me wrong i believe in effective fans groups and there is a roll for them but not in the same bed as the opposition, and that isn't just sisu by the way, i see Elliott, Hoffman, PHKIV, Byng, Paul Fletcher and whoever else may come in as potential opposition, all will tell us what we want to hear, make groups feel important but shit on you from a great height at anytime and won't even wipe their arses afterwards.

Why do you also talk about this new 11,000 capacity stadium, when the club have already said that it would be more than that

More importantly ... I'm still not clear on what you want for breakfast TOAST or CEREAL!!!!?

there is much confusion around all aspects of this Build Project

First it was quoted as £30M. then compared to Rotherham @ 12000 capacity which cost £25M. IIRC then 15000 ,yet 8000 from SL . The Harsh reality and they know it is 4000 would be enough on their own data collected.

I was totally with this post and the facts are good The FA and Football League always clash let alone work together.

Got very bored when the anti SBT rant began so you lost my interest.

I think Dim Tim questioned the facts about the size of the stadium, but did not say if the quoted figure was too high or too low. Lets face it 2000 would be enough if they get away with this crazy plan.

I was under the impression they said 8 thousand with a view to expanding in the future.

Your kidding, he reckons well get 7000 coming to Walsall if we play well!!

Sensible thing to do would be to look at a stadium of around 20k, with the ability to easily extend to around 30k down the line.. Similar to the way Brighton did theirs .. But this is sisu , so you could be right!
