Fisher : mute point not for SISU or Holdings to decide upto admininstrator to decide if they play at the ricoh
Not happy the ACL offered for team to play for free while in admin, before admin would of been nuts not to accept free rent if offered, bid made by SISU (through different company) not including playing at the Ricoh - CWR ? would you revise bid to include playing at Ricoh ? no we wouldnt looking to build new stadium in coventry area - fans forums - fans understand why we need own stadium for FFP - hammered for saying club needs all its own revenew - suddenly dawned club and stadium need to be one - not changing mind about playing at ricoh - boat has sailed on that one - we will be dragged through the courts and club will suffer. If going through courts we will be ham strung if stuck in admin Good luck to ACL we are moving forward

few bits i could write as i listened was on at about 7.50 am for i player when available:)

basically said the club needs to be out of admin before the season starts so the offer does not apply.
Iif club not out of admin it will be like playing on 1 leg.

Also fans at the forums understand why we need a new stadium

Did they? I mean, I wasn't invited to one but the impression I got was totally the opposite!

what a tosser - he really did not take in one word from the fans forums
Nearly everybody said "we will not follow you out of coventry"
Some said, if you have to move, play at the ricoh in the interim

not one person agreed with moving to somebody else's ground

Actually there were some who said they could understand why the club need to have access to all year revenue from the stadium. Quite a few said they would follow to a new stadium if built, but none supported the idea of groundsharing in the interim period.

He just doesn't get it does he. "All be done with full consultation with fans..." Complete bollocks. He could not give a toss about the fans, as the forums proved.
He hates the Ricoh, it's got nothing to do with FFP or any of that, it's about trying to screw acl cos they found him out for what he is.

Where are these mysterious fans that he comes up with who agree with his plans...

And, to be fair, that is my point of view. I'm quite happy for a new stadium, just want to stay at the Ricoh in the meantime. But, if we stayed at the Ricoh, that would be OK too. Anything but a ground share really.

Lets be accurate, did he say the fans understood why they had to move or the fans liked his plans? Its not quite the same is it?

Most blame sisu/Fisher for not trying to talk to ACL for a three year contract, but it seems clear to me that ACL under current management rather have the Ricoh sit empty than have the club play there in the interim while sisu are owners. I wonder if Compass are happy with that. And I wonder if the Trust are trying to put real pressure on ACL/ccc.

I'm not happy for a new stadium unless its costs aren't put onto the club. I fail to see how increasing the debt by £30m+ is in anyone's interests.

He certainly has consulted - taking no fecking notice, but it's true he has consulted and that's his stance!

Can't understand why some want a new stadium? We couldn't afford to build one before, hence not owning it, the same will happen again.
had a new stadium built 8 years ago....
The 'all important food and beverage revenues' that he spouts on about amount to about one players salary....not exactly gonna make the difference between losing £1 millions every season

I didn't think i would ever despise any cov -related induvidual more than Craig Bellamy. Well done, Tim, you have proved me wrong.

Well he did consult, he said what he wants to do, listened to every one saying he was wrong, and then said he's still doing it anyway.
Think he quite enjoyed being shouted at say there in his ivory tower as if us supporters were pond life.
He doesn't care about CCFC, the city of coventry, the Ricoh, or any of us.

His reaction this morning will show the F.A. that they are not fit and proper owners full stop. Why would hmrc be looking at them, they are paying all their paye.

If, as Mr Fisher has suggested, the accounts are a mess, I suppose the taxman might wonder whether the right amount of PAYE has been paid...

Having said that, I have seen no source to suggest that the rumour posted on here has any basis in reality. We'll wait and see I guess.

I don't think he can use the term 'consultation' - it was more like 'information'. The decision was taken and nothing we could have said would have changed it. So definitely not a consultation.

So Fisher will be rejecting the offer to play at the Ricoh it seems. I really hope this affects Appleton's decision and if any is needed, a decision from the Football League on where the Golden share should go.

The offer wasn't made to him - so it's not his to reject.
The offer only applies for the duration of the administration, so it would only count if we don't exit before the season starts.

Fisher talking like he's in charge again, when at best he is just treading water awaiting the outcome of his fate.

But surely, for the Clubs future aspirations, the new stadium does not fulfil that as its too small.
If you accept that a club trolleying along in Division 1, solvent, but unable to progress is okay then I'm happy for you.
But for me the push needs to be to stay at the Ricoh where my aspirations are only held back by investment in the team.
Effectively the quality of the team will be driven by attendances. Other incomes will be minimal in comparison.
The Compass catering contract surely will be diluted by then and ACL have left some room for manoeuvre on other areas.
I reckon its got personal with TF since SISU bully boy tactics failed to work. However its his job.

Oh yeah - sorry! What I should have said is that Fisher confirming his intention to move the club will hopefully affect the decisions by Appleton etc.

All this stadium talk is Sisu rhetoric to try and convince the Football League they have a plan to go forward rather than just fleece us.
