Fixtures are out, we are home when they are away, every single game as far as I can see, the odds of this are at least a million to one by chance.

did you check any other midlands club fixtures ? i had a quick glance at birmingham & looked like they were away whenever we were home too. at least for first few months that i glanced at.. i suspect our home & aways could match up with a few clubs

birminghams don't match. the chance of the walsall matching completely with coventry by chance is nearly 10 million to 1 if my math is right.

Looks like the FL are colluding with SISU doesn't it? And if you believe that SISU's game plan is to move our club to another town for 3 years in order to financially distress ACL, then that's got to be pretty disgusting.

conspiracy theories start here. :) Didn't believe it & its right not a single clash.

Wolves will be home the same Saturday ,could make interesting travel?
Haven't been through all Midlands but I would expect, if its right Walsall home games, for a few 'home' games to be moved to Friday/Sundays on Police advise when Birmingham & Villa at home.

2+2=5.

It'll be the Ricoh.

of course it still could be the Ricoh but this proves almost beyond contestation that they have been planning to play in walsall and have told the football league of that and the football league believe them and these fixtures have been prepared based on the fact thats where we are playing in walsall.

It's not reasonable to believe it's chance in anyway, it's like tossing a coin 23 times and getting heads every time.

The Police will not offer advice like that for 400-500 avg away fans & (if we believe some) 3 Cov fans will they? Doesn't need Policing does it?

It'll be a bit of an unfair advantage when we play Walsall at home! :thinking about:

is this math correct? normally chance of them being at home when we are on a given saturday 50%, so 0.5. 23 games, 0.5^23 = 0.00000011920928955078125 x 100 =

0.000012%

So nearly 10 million to 1?

Am I stupid, I counted our fixtures on BBC and only got to 38? Someone put me right?

there does seem to be something wrong on the BBC site (shocking, BBC Sport site gets something wrong!) it doesnt have us down for Boxing day or New Years day fixtures, which are on the club website. so theyve obviously decided to miss a few off

We'll have to wait and see.

Walsall averaged 4234 last season and IF this groundshare has been agreed I would expect this to have been put to local police by now already for their agreement.
Then depends what figures then SISU have come up with for the expected attendances

This is exactly the same as last season, as far as I tell. When we were at home in the league, Walsall were away.

Are we reading too much into this, perhaps?

hes! as i said , it could be a ground that is not even in this league.. or as torch said, the ricoh

understandable that people want to know & will try and put 2 & 2 together.. but we wont know for sure until that first match kicks off..

Reminds me of something my dad* used to say:

"The blind man only sees what the seeing man tells him. But the deaf man can see the truth as he cannot hear the lies."

Fairly powerful and apt, I'm sure you'll agree!

Like I said this doesn't guarantee we aren't at the Ricoh but it does Guarantee that the football league have made these fixtures believing that we will be playing in walsall.

Again they don't match he didn't check properly at all and you clearly didnt check either, and again its not realistic to believe this happened by chance.

First three fixtures at least, and at least some others after that. I haven't pulled them all apart, that's true enough. Have you?

Looks likely, however in the past (because of policing) the 6 clubs in WMP's area would often find their fixtures ensured they didn't clash. We usually were at home the same time as Brum and West Brom, with the other 3 being away.

It's a 50/50 chance the computer has thrown our fixtures opposite to Walsall. If you look at every other team who are at home on the opening day of the season, throughout the season they are always at home when we are away and vice versa
