I can confirm that there has been no changes to our board in the recent past. We started with 10 which swiftly became 12 and finally around 4-5 months ago we became 13. This was to widen the skill set on the board.

As for the NOPM campaign. This is being ran due to the threat to move the club outside its'/your/my city.

Unfortunately CJ it seems as though quite a few supporters and posters on here view NOPM campaign as a sisu out campaign and will NOPM even if we're at the Ricoh - that's their decision not to go but their are using your NOPM slogan.

1)So what happens if it is the Ricoh ? Is that it ? Is it an acceptance of the SISU regime ?

2) Should the Trust be looking at a strategy to try to get SISU out whilst playing in Cov ?

3)What if the results are rubbish, who gets blamed in six months time if the manager has been starved of funds to improve the squad ?

Only my view but:

1) yes, if we're at the Ricoh the trust should accept that sisu are still our owners and look to engage with them for the good of the supporters.

2) I don't think the trust are in a position to mastermind a take over and actually should be staying neutral and engage with sisu to provide fans with a voice (even if it is on deaf ears).

3) all depends on the squad, and investment relies on income (ffp), and whether we perceive they have used the full 60% allowance.

They have cut all ties with sisu, I bet Fisher used pissing him self.

I don't understand it as they gave some good people involved at the trust helping them out but they keep sending these awful emails and silly protests

for all of you knocking the trust, why dont you set up your own organisation. It seems that you all have wonderful ideas and are quick to pick up where you believe the trust has made mistakes.
For gods sake it's only a pound and they help highlight the plight of the club
Or is it just easier to sit there, do very little and criticise?

When you create an organisation you should expect to be criticised when you are performing like idiots and making childish remarks that don't help the cause one bit

Thanks for the confirmation of the board CJ.

Any chance you can tell me why the council and ACL are seemingly being given an easy ride with regards to their role in enabling the club to play at the Ricoh? From reading this and other sites the consensus amongst fans appears to be that none of the parties are blameless, yet I've not heard anything from the Trust calling for the council or ACL to accept mediation or anything.

you are not forced to join. You obviously do not agree with what they are doing or how they do it..which obviously you are quite entitled to your opinion.
But why keep knoocking a group of fans which are trying to help rescue the club?

They're not helping themselves if they want to be a positive influence then they must seek to speak to all sides involved and listen to all sides of the story and be evenhanded in there approach witch frankly has never happened the agenda has always been sisu out.

I'm not a fan of sisu but they own us and the only thing we can do is work with them until such time the decide to go

This is absolutely spot on, attention seems to be solely on sisu, I'm a member of the trust and I would like to see more pressure put on ACL

How about the trust listens to its members?

You make it sound like it is a kids gang where somebody branches out to make their own, it is supposed to represent our fans but it makes us look like bellends who want to stand around shouting sisu out.

There has been no discussion with its members.

Why don't the trust listen? Surely as so many are knocking it is a bit of a sign?

Criticism and abuse aren't necessarily the same thing. If someone is making legitimate criticisms of what the Trust are doing, greeting it with 'how's YOUR organisation helping?' doesn't achieve much.

To achieve these Aims the Trust will:

  • seek to work in partnership with the Club and all other stakeholders in CCFC;
  • represent and give voice to the views of Trust members;

That is the level it has dropped to, it is like they have had their sisu out agenda all along and just hid it a bit and now it is all spilling out and they won't listen to any body else.

All of this posting letters, encouragement to spam people is laughable. It is pretty much a full on sisu hate campaign.

What have the trust actually achieved on behalf of the fans so far?

So they are not listening to Who the non members on here who knock everything anybody does and hope all will be well or the members who voted that they should not speak to Sisu about moving out of Coventry as for speaking to ACL/CCC they have also done this they have offered to mediate, but if one or both of the parties do not want to what can they do.

Ah you mean the yes or no question about action.

As a member the only way you seem to have a voice is if you want to go down the squirrel and interrupt the old boys piss up?

Ultimately because that is life. Of course people can make criticisms about anyone or any organisation who represents them. Take politics. What you are saying is never criticise a politician and never try and attack a governments policies. Your doing nothing yourself to influence change so don't criticise.

It's a weak lazy argument I'm afraid.

As much as can be expected from a group that are dealing with a group like Sisu you will never win we all have our own agendas so will always upset someone especially those who do not wish to take part and believe all will just fall into place and be alright.
Need to open your eyes while Sisu are here we will never get out of this mess it will only get worse IOHO

The trust should be taking them all on board and trying to fix them rather than all of this "what are you doing then" shit.

The late kick off embarrassment with all of the trust getting their minute of fame saying how the best option would be to go into admin summed it up, we went into admin but still waiting to see how it was the best option?

I'm a member. I want the Trust to communicate with all the parties involved.

Sorry, don't agree with them telling people what not to buy and the e-mail sounds at best futile and at worst childish. They have gone down in my estimation after that.

None of the campaigns work because now sisu have secured the club they are back in business if no one turns up to watch the games and not one penny more becomes a reality you've got to face the reality that comes with that and that reality would be liquidation so you're own protest kills the club anyway so what's the point?

Surely the majority of the members agendas should dictate the action taken?

I don't think anybody believes by doing nothing it will all fall into place, maybe they just have the common sense to see that protesting to an empty office achieves nothing?

The trust is a sisu out campaign, all of the targets and aims have gone to shit.

I believe they have communicated with ACL, but all polls and letters are aimed at sisu and all that has achieved is to alienate the trust, no progress whatsoever. Equal pressure needs putting on ACL because they are part of the problem.

Nick, why dont you organise something on here?

I have offered to help the trust numerous times but I don't think they are interested. I assume that as I got a polite thanks but fuck off email.

I offered to help sort their website and with online marketing.

This site is for people to talk about ccfc, it isn't a fans group trying to get on the telly all of the time. You won't catch me with a mega phone leading sisu out chants!
