Yeah I think they have been tame ,but I don't come on here bleating about it ,as I recognise you can never tailor such a body to E-fit into everybody's mindset ,so I cut them some slack and assume that a unified stance will save the Club from the Actions of the Owners. These people @ the Trust are just like you or I and are acting out of concern, devoting shed loads of time at cost to themselves .They are just Ordinary people and approachable ,I just wonder if anyone on this thread has actually made a genuine attempt to express any concern to the Trust personally before sounding off taking cheap shots in here.

My argument with the Trust is they meet mid-week, in my opinion it should be a matchday somewhere near to or even at the Ricoh about 12/1 o'clock Gives out of town supporters a chance to go. Monday night is prohibitive in my opinion and is proved by the small attendences and small attendences gives the psgm1s of the world the ammunition to point fingers. But the Trust won't change the day because it suits one particular individual.

Not really Colin If you wish to follow timelines ,the evidence is in every Poll /Petition that the support is decimated due to the Stance/Attitude and Disregard of Fan opinion from the Owners.

This site is independent of everybody, I pay for it myself.

Things are always being requested to be taken down from all sides, most of it is deleted not because anybody asks, but because it is usually nasty, hateful stuff.

Wingy , the only thing I would say to these two points is firstly.. This is a forum, and a Coventry city forum at that, coming on here to "bleat" is its bread & butter! And secondly, as people in this thread have already pointed out numerous times, yes emails have been sent to the trust pointing out those members concerns.. Some, like nick, have even gone further & offered additional help, and those emails and offers have either been knocked back, or in other cases just not been replied to at all.. Hence I guess why some have felt the need to try and make themself heard by posting on here. come on, we know the trust guys read this forum.. Post on the forum.. And used the forum to try and increase its membership.. So It's a legitimate place to air concerns. What other choice do they have if they can get no response from the trust directly.. And when they feel that the organisation, that claims to represent them, is making statements they don't agree with ?

I'm sure .. In fact Im positive, the guys running the trust have the best interest of the club at heart... But the trust is not just about the guys running it and their own views & decisions. Maybe that's got lost along the way recently, that's all we are saying

By a "more considered view", you mean agreeing with everything that the Trust does without a word of criticism then?

Thanks for the answer Nick ,it was as I expected and asked in the right tone in "The right place".
The point I've been trying to make is that a lot of the Trust stuff is just disparaging ,maybe i'm too defensive of it . But certainly feel stronger together with it than Not. Maybe there "Is" a communication issue?

If they have low gates Colin, it matters not what they say. Fans have stayed away whatever the reason. If the gates are high that would be a worry.

Trouble is these campaigns are diametrically opposed, or at the very least aren't fully adopted by every member. But hey the clique are only democratic when it suits them. Clearly there is wouldn't call him a bully, but certainly let's just say a domineering presence on their inconceivably large board, which as can be seen from this drivel taking over the group. Again if their membership fully support this then fine, but looking fromn the comments, they clearly do not!

This should Never be allowede to happen. Why are the clique so opposed to a share issue for all fans? Could it be that it would make them officially defunct? But this would be great news for the club, it would guarantee fans are part of the club - which is their stated aim. I simply do not understand how giving away a part of the club to these people would benefit the fans. They do after all only represent at best 10% of the fanbase! So all it would do is give 20% of the club to 10% - and for free!

No wonder their top heavy group are so desperate to silence any criticism! However tonight has shown themselves up for what they really are. And isn't it noticeable that it has alienated the very people it claims to represent!

I do not believe for one minute that the trust can get every thing right, but I have to defend them for trying and would defend anyone, Lets all knock everyone else lets have a vote on what everyone wants, lets put it live on the internet. If people were really that bothered they would attend.
I work shifts I have booked off time to attend different functions because it is close to my heart, I have made suggestions some ok some shit I am very passionate and fight for what I believe, is that not my right.

We will get the same old questions does being a Trust member make you better does attending closed offices make any sense does sending e-mails really work does talking to Sisu, ACL or anyone else really work fuck knows but like I said before I am not going to sit back and let them ruin my club anymore without trying.
