The evidence is based on statistical analysis over 40 years comparing average crowds to what happens on cup runs. This has occurred every instance we have had success. What you are really saying if you actually stop and think for a second is that fans would not want to go to Wembley if they made it. What about a play off final? Same would be? No because a direct correlation exists between success and huge increases in attendances over half a century whoever the owner.

We got 10K going to Old Trafford in the League Cup while in the Championship and if we said then that we'd get over 30K for the "tinpot" JPT while mid-table in L1, then people would have laughed, but we did.

No one knows for sure, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Torch once again read what the twonk wrote, he states we would get a big crowd for a semi final of the JPT, I disagree that if this season we get to the JPT semi, which I think he means the Area final, we would get a big crowd.

He can't accept that most of the fans have simply had enough and won't support the club this year, whatever happens, and before anyone else comes in please research my view on this as I am sick of stating it

We now have a section of "fans" who consider themselves superior as they will no longer go to support the club anymore and those who do are inferior - not in it for the long term as if they have a better understanding of the current plight.

Not supporting is damaging and dangerous. Less income equals less revenue equals worse squad equals less chance of potential serious investors.

Of course the supporters of this campaign - not one penny more - in all likelyhood last spent a penny at the club pre decimalisation.

One today who is very passionate lives in Switzerland so the revenue equation is hardly threatened either way. Another thinks season ticket holders at Coventry city are worms (yes he really does). We need to disregard this nonsense and see it for what it really is. A cause without purpose, a protest by those with no desire or intent.

Sadly I could only be at one match last season, but as a percentage of the total amount that I spent on CCFC that ticket was about 10-15% of it. I spent far more on presents from the shop (when we had one) for my friends and relatives. Now the online shop doesn't seem to work either, kind of sums up the reign of SISU.

The point which I am sure you well understand is James' view on not one penny more is not as relevant as people who attend regularly.

It is almost inevitable that there will be greater support from non attendees as they can join forces in a uniform approach to a cause that has no impact in their lifestyle.

Like it or not your revenue contribution to the club is negligible and that's a fact. The other fact that clearly comes out on this post is most who attend home games will still do so if the club stays at the Ricoh.

Also despite the mad vicars ludricous protestations it is very obvious that if at the Ricoh attendances will then be influenced by events on the pitch and not away from it.
