Football is a stupid game from a finanical stand point. Even if we could compete for wages with the likes of King the whole scenario is fecking madness players get paid too much simple as. I was always a little bit sceptical about the whole "verbal agreement" given that it was announced on the day of the shirt launch, if it did happen then Marlon has gone back on his word and deserves the abuse he is going to get.
If the verbal agreement didn't happen then personally I'm still extremely disappointed, wouldn't have minded him going to a Premiership team, but another Championship one and a local rival at that hurts
Hopefully Thorn has got someone decent to replace him with lined up and hopefully Juke will provide the goods next season. Eastwood and Platt I have no faith in whatsoever
As people have said though he's not the first and sure as hell won't be the last to leave us and at least now it appears the whole saga is over
