Do you follow any other teams? (1 Viewer)

Obviously, first and foremost, we are all Coventry City fans, but does anyone also follow any other sides? Maybe because of family connections, work or players/managers there etc etc?

My old man is an Arsenal fan, so I always look out for their results and do take an interest in them. I'm from Luton, so I also look for their results, despite that fact I don't like them. Mainly because I always used to get stick from my mates when Luton were in the Championship. Safe to say that they don't say anything to me any more!!

Anyone else?

Was brought up as a united fan, went to quite a lot of games, then when I turned 14/15 saw the light at the end of the tunnel and started supporting cov. Always like to see united do well.

Well my dad is a Man Utd fan so I like to see them do well, but my "second" team, if such thing exists, is Everton. I even have their Pink away shirt from last season xD

Always had a soft spot for Liverpool as everyone supported them at school in the 80s because they won everything in them days. I always want them to do well.
Also Glasgow Rangers for the same reasons really loved them in the 90s with mccoist and hateley!

From England: Chelsea, Nuneaton Town, Rushden and Diamonds (yes, really).
Rest of World: Barcelona, AC Milan, LA Galaxy, Brisbane Roar.

Reasons: Loved Chelsea as a kid watching Wise, Zola etc. Nuneaton Town, my brother was from Nuneaton. Brisbane Roar, my brother now lives in Australia! Rushden and Diamonds, followed them when Simeon Jackson and Chris O'Grady played....back on the old CET forum I said we should have signed Simeon on various occasions. Barcelona.....don't think I need to explain that, absolutely beautiful football. LA Galaxy, big fan of Beckham plus keeping tabs on Birchall (who I believe we shouldn't have sold). AC Milan, again to do with Beckham.

I'm a bit football mad you see.

I'm a big Celtic man myself and prefer Man Utd out of the top four. Detest most of the Chelsea squad, Liverpool fans are just up their own arses when they are pretty average most of the time and Arsene Wenger has always driven me mental in his inability to BUY A FRIGGING GOALKEEPER, IT'S NOT THAT HARD!!!!

Gota be honest Hitler never did anything to me. In fact I wouldn't exist if my Jewish Great Grandmother and German POW Great Grandfather hadn't met in Kenilworth as a result of Hitlers actions.

On that Basis I stand by my comments i.e. Marlon King is much worse than Hitler.

Coventry City

Bristol City - were I wuz dragged up.

Two games a season are a bit more painfull than the average serving as a Sky Blue.

I like Man U as they consistently play attractive football (with the exception of the Barca game) and brought through a lot of their own players and provided the spine of the England team.

Mine are Northampton Town and Oxford.
The reasons are that I was brought up about half way between them, and my Dad when he was young, used to follow the cobblers when they went up through the leagues consecutively, and straight back down through them consecutively. He got fucked off with that and started taking his very young son,me, to Cov.
Why Oxford , i had loads of mates who watched them and sometimes if Cov were'nt playing or circumstances prevailed that i could'nt get to there game away, then i'd go with them.
Also had a fantastic day out at wembley with them when Oxford beat QPR in League Cup in 95/96, can't remember which year.

Anyway can we get back to talking about Marlon.

Swansea is my other team due to one side of the family all being from there. Cheered them a lot in tie play off final and now have a team to support in the premiership. Will miss going to the Cardiff rivalry now. They were cracking atmospheres.

Thought it'd be Newport town or something for you. I bet it's busy down there at the moment isn't it Houchy?

Can't move around Newport! There's campers wandering around everywhere, Sainsburys nearly ran out of canned beer! It's a great atmosphere though! My daughter has gone for the whole weekend.

No second team.

Fond of Northampton as born there, and dont mind Arsenal as play good football, and Everton as I once lived with two Liverppol fans (and lived to tell the tale)

Aside from that love anyone who plays against Leicester :jerkit: or the Villa :jerkit:, and pretty much loathe everyone else
