i think Mr Ainsworth may have just signed his own political career to wastebin. libel, slander, harassment are just some things that come to mind. if what he said was anywhere near the truth the owners of city are out ! and that will be that. Fraud at the club? with the involvment of the football league? my god hes lost the plot

true sky blue - join date: Jun 2013:thinking about:......says it all really.

Do you not understand the principle of Parliamentary Privilege? If you really are a 'true sky blue' then you should be supporting Bob Ainsworth in trying to get to the truth behind SISU's veil of secrecy and obfuscation.

Perhaps you could explain to me how CCFC Ltd (with its multi-million pound turnover, 108 employees, and described as involved in running a professional football club) can metamorphose into a mere 'property and lease management business' without any real assets?

It's nothing to do with Bob, though I can see you've got issues with him. And it's nothing to do with SISU being a hedge fund either, they can have as many companies as they want, but each one has to be run according to the law.

What you can't do, legally, is asset strip, the definition of which is above. I don't know whether they may have done this or not, if you've got any evidence either way I'd be interested. In the meantime maybe it would merit proper investigation by someone who isn't biased either way.

Im sure we could find lots of unbiased peoplle on here who woud do the job for ree:D
Or even free

The way that CCFC Ltd suddenly seems to have no (or few) tanglible assets whilst having massive debts is very interesting to me.

I wouldn't for a moment suggest that anything untoward has occurred, but just out of interest here's a definition of fraudulent practice from the Serious Fraud Office:

http://www.sfo.gov.uk/fraud/what-is-fraud/corporate-fraud/asset-stripping.aspx

I wouldn't think our owners could ever be involved in such a thing. I'm sure the accounts are simply a 'mess', as TF states.

Perhaps for everyone's peace of mind it's time that someone looked into it properly though, just to stop any scurrilous accusations that might otherwise start floating around on the internet.

I note that there's a link to a reporting form on that page.

I started a thread on this when the admin first broke, but i don't think many poeple got what I was on about and it didn't really get noticed.

Its certainly worth looking into though.

Yep, I remember that. I held off then in the hope that the matter would be resolved and a full scale investigation might get in the way.

I'm not of that opinion now. I'd be very happy if the SFO started to look into things.

I really do hope so
There is also the question as to whether Appleton's decision regarding preferred bidder was lawful, due to the fact he had requested accounts from auditors, which despite several requests, were not made available. These accounts were crucial, as they would confirm which assets were held in each of the companies, and when any movements took place.
The whole saga has been fudged from start to finish.

There's a massive stench attached to this whole process.
The suing counter suing malarkey is evidence of how lawyers benefit when people's "integrity" is at stake.
Sisu have previous exposure to this so cannot be above suspicion.
Fisher as well as a mouthpiece is also a director so will be deeply implicated if any law has been broken.
It is unlikely to end here and the FL should be worried too as their rubber stamp of the move to NTFC is contrary to their own guidelines.
At the very least they have failed lamentably in their primary duty if care to the wider footballing community and specifically to the Coventry fan and the traditions of his club.
If, after deeper judicial investigation it is demonstrable that they took the side of law breakers they won't have a leg to stand on.

Mr Fisher is a man of integrity? He released details of his bid during a Q&A to the Telegraph stating all the unsecured creditors would be paid of in full.

Check out the proposal from the administrator setting out what the unsecured creditors are set to receive. Not quite as he stated...

Did the man actually answer anything clearly at the forums when questioned?

And did he think to ask the families of bereaved relatives if they would mind if SISU took their dead relatives ashes and relocated them outside the city boundaries? Live on CWR.

I said this yesterday and I'll remind anyone thinking of commenting on this thread today: Bob Ainsworth MP is afforded a degree of legal protection in a Parliamentary motion to say what he has that you may discover does not extend to you if you were to repeat it.
Might i suggest a safe word we can use instead of fraud, this may save us from any future legal proceedings, so how about using " slight of hand " instead. ;)
