Are Sisu continuing out of spite (2 Viewers)

considering the fans hate them, they have no chance of building a new ground in Coventry as ccc are never going to give them planning permission. they must have burnt all bridges now of any chance of ever returning to the ricoh (sisu that is, not ccfc). the building of a new stadium in the vicinity of Coventry seems unlikely as they need planning permission from wcc for Brandon (which would never happen anyway) and as far as i'm aware no other site has been put forward. they have little chance of selling the club in its current state and everything they do only seems to make the situation worse and worse. its hard to come to any other conclusion that they are doing what they are to our football club for spite and possibly revenge on the people that despise them.

Nope they are continuing hoping ACL will crumble.

Even you must be ashamed by ACL today. Why have the league docked less points than normal do you think? This council are an utter disgrace, I am so annoyed.

exactly

It is still costing them several thousands a day to own CCFC and its money they simply wont see again...

Either they are using CCFC to offset global losses, or they still hve an agenda, which is getting the Rioch

The one thing for sure is they arent still her to annoy the council

The League make David Brent look a good decision maker !

I wouldnt say ANYTHING the league do is based on anything other than a magic 8 ball

Because they have fuck-up big time in their handling of this situation and they know it.

How can they make ACL crumble? They say they can survive without ccfc, can afford to offer £150k which 3-4 events could easily cover, and have said there are alternative tenants waiting in the wings...

The league are not happy with either party involved in this and i imagine will keep a close eye on the running of the club...I'm gutted but not shocked tonight and now it will be time that determines if Sisu are fit and proper people to control the club...My opinion is they are not the right people and if NTFC is the home ground then they will have to blame others for any mismanagement of the club...All have blame but a break in ties will get us all the answers about who can be successful in business, sadly it came at the cost of what most see as the death of the club....

To be honest I am more ashamed that there was a deal on the table that could have kept us at the Ricoh.

Rejected over a Judicial Review that will go nowhere.

The council wanted it gone because of the costs as oppose to any mileage in it.

SISU don't want to drop it as the costs crank the pressure.

So really I am ashamed that such a deal was offered that could have seen us at the Ricoh.

Now we are going to Northampton to see if it breaks ACL.

I don't think it will and unfortunately I think the council and ACL may now become very focused in making te Ricoh work without us.

Very much to the detriment of the football club.

That's the biggest gamble ever, once the pitch is taken out and a roof put over and they realise there's no chance of football returning, they'll have to go ahead with the lunatic plan of building their new stadium. Quite where they get the oney from is anybody's guess, they'll have to dupe a couple of unwary investors into putting £30 million into a stadium for a third-tier football team with a bit of conference space to hold pikey wedding receptions and David Brent corporate team building days for the few businesses still going in the area.

So at the very best it'll end up with Sky Blues mk2 playing in somebody else's stadium, as if that hasn't caused any issues before...

At a guess I'd say based on past actions that they'll just issue legal challenges to anyone remotely connected to this mess, (ACL, the Council, Compass, the Higgs, DeVere, Tesco, Ricoh etc.) until they run out of money and give in or go bust.
