I can see us losing by a couple of goals with maybe a weakened (if possible) side out with the youngsters out.

I hope the city fans wanting us to lose just to spite sisu out of money hang their heads in shame tonight if we win.

Harsh comment - people can't help how they feel, it's not some kind of spiteful choice, it's a genuine feeling of total disconnection and annoyance that they have been allowed to carry on as if everything's normal. It is us who are missing out more than those of you who still feel fine getting behind the lads

You don't just stop wanting your own team to win. The people saying that were probably just armchair fans who only turned up for the crewe game anyway

I want us to do amazing this season. So the players can stick their fingers up at sisu and the football league. Shame they won't tho.

The problem is Nick, it's hard for a lot of us to regard Sisu-owned CCFC as 'we' any more.
There are 11 players out there playing for CCFC and its fans. The fact that SISU owns the club is irrelevant. Nick is spot on, its shameful and I hope the turncoats fuck off never to return.

The turncoats are the ones planning to go to Sixfields every week. Luckily, there's barely a handful of them.

i would turn up at a cow shed if that is where MY TEAM was playing. No one and i mean No one is going to sop me supporting the club i have followed for over 35 years. Hate what is happening, but the TEAM need me now more than ever......sorry but can not abandon them. I think the entire football world know what is happening is shamefull (well, except the FL!). Whether it is 500 or 50k turning up at sixfields, stripping assets and moving our club will never be seen as okay .

Becomes very relevant the moment we kick off a 'home' game in Northampton.

Well we will be back and there's nothing much you can do about it. Funny how the calls for tolerance and fan unity in these extreme circumstances only seem to apply to those going to Northampton (and I agree, much as I don't understand them).

Unchanged from Saturday. Orient two changes.

I'm surprised by that tbh.

IMO, although I'd never want the team to lose, I think we could do without a cup run, in any cup. Nothing to do with wanting us to lose to avoid lining SISU's pockets etc. just think the season is going to be long enough as it is, and if we have to continue using the kids, we'll soon tire them out and extra games won't help.

Getting a first win of the season under your belt is always good.
A cup run is probably not in our best interest, but I'd never hope we lose
