she's very contradictory. If the ricoh can survive without the club then why did ccc need to bail them out to the tune of £14m. It doesn't make sense. Posturing on both sides just frustrates fans all the more.

Quite, and that bail-out came at a time when ACL were still benefiting indirectly from the football club, were still able to draw some of the money from the ESCROW account - all this in the months that followed the Olympics. The Ricoh is struggling. It is chronically underused and very badly run.

It's the ultimate gamble from SISU-Fisher has 5 years potentially at Northampton; CCFC will be a non league club by that point however will ACL still be in business? If not, they can swoop at a moment's notice. This has been their intention since last April and will be until ACL capitulate-they are quite happy to let the club rot in Northampton to achieve it.

The very frustrating thing is that we don't need to actually own the Ricoh to profit from it-we just need ACL's stake in IEC.

Why sell something that cost £100 mil to an hedge fund for less than it cost ?:blue:

And, I would venture to suggest, that after the experience with these particular owners, ACL/CCC would wish to see some commitment to the Club and the City by any future owner before selling the stadium on ............... and can you blame them?

What do you mean by this Brighton? If ACL go tits up their assets will become available to the highest bidder. That could be anyone. SISU screwed their own position by leaving the Ricoh and thereby relinquishing any preferential claim to the Ricoh on the grounds that they were sitting tenants.

I heard about half of it. From what I heard, she was clearly an A Grade student at the Tim Fisher school of avoiding questions. She waffled on and on and on and even at one point compared the ownership of the Ricoh to who owned the sofa at home - was it her or her husband! In a nutshell, she was asked 2 questions in the 20 minutes I heard.
1) - Would you sell the Ricoh to the owner (SISU or otherwise) of the football club, as a club should own it's own stadium.
Her answer (eventually): It is in the interest of the City for the council to retain ownership of the stadium, but she would entertain the idea of discussions.

2) What valuation would you put on the stadium should it be for sale?
Her answer (eventually): I can't answer that. The stadium cost £113m to build and the whole development cost around £240m.
Make of that what you will. It's all I got to hear, but was the bulk of the interview because she took forever to answer a question.

She did say that she is heartbroken over what has happened as she has been a supporter since 1962 and felt she had to relinquish her Season Ticket in 2010 as she could see what was happening to the club.

She also expressed her delight about the judge throwing out the Judicial review and SISU having to pay the costs, as why should the council pay for being in the right.

I thought she relinquished her season ticket because we signed Marlon King?

I think CCC & ACL realize that CCFC must own the Ricoh, I think that has become obvious even to them.

However, SISU aren't going to get their dirty mits on it

Well that's the way I see it too.

Obviously the best scenario is for Sisu to leave. Both sides have a complete distrust of each other. Just wish I could believe that Sisu would leave instead of digging their heels in and holding on for grim death.

Meanwhile, while this all goes on the club gets plunged deeper and deeper into the mire and slides down the league tables.

We could well get relegated this season for sure. Then next season, if we are still at Northampton surely the crowds will drop even further still. You would hardly think that possible, but I'm sure that even a few of the hardy souls intent on going at the moment must have breaking points.

And as SISU don't seem to he going anywhere I guess we better get used to playing away from the city.

And ACL better try and think of doing something with that big green bit in the middle.

If there isn't a compromise then this football club is fucked.

For the first time, I agree with you. Unless JS takes up the offer of a meeting with Anne Lucas to "end this nonsense", the club is indeed f****d!

So far, she hasn't responded !

I'd be confident of SISU's ability to be the highest bidder and also in their favour would be the ability to immediately re-insert the football club there.

Is this just a meeting she's trying to arrange that nobody will turn up to or is this something that is actually likely to happen?

not sure, i've been looking around on the net and cant find any details of a pre arranged meeting anywhere between any parties, perhaps someone can shed some light on it.

and if they cant can someone just make something up
