That is why it would be such a betrayal if they had jack! Presume one of this group will attend pretty rapidly and confirm / deny this one! It is pretty fundamental if they have bought any wouldn't you agree?

I've heard that Peter is a bush smuggler. A shrub rocketeer, if you catch my drift. Not to be trusted.

Listen to Lionel from 50min's on that CWR program.. he explains the situation from 2003 very clearly.. how the club was rescued by the Higgs Charity and how the ARVO debenture is there to strip the club's remaining assets should it go into liquidation.. & more..

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01cvq46

Very informative stuff.. listen

I think the time might have come to put a complaint in about bias because something isn't right about the number of pro SISU people they have on.

So what your saying is its wrong to have a differing opinion that can be aired? I find it strange that there are people out there that will defend SISU to the hill, but some people are naive.

Did I hear right on the phone show tonight, the Sky Blue Trust have bought 400 season tickets?
Or was that 400 tickets for the Ricoh on Sunday?
Hoping I misheard it.

You must have miss heard a comment as can assure you the Trust had not bought 400 tickets for anywhere. We are 100% behind the game at the Ricoh, are helping out selling tickets and also assisting in others ways to make sure the day goes well for all those Coventry City fans attending.

We've also organized the filming of the game and for someone to interview fans etc throughout the day. We're making another video for "ribbons everywhere" so if you want to get involved with that meet at the jimmy hill statue at 1pm. Bring the children along and get them bouncing up and down.

Steve, very glad to hear it. I wasn't being malicious. After a slow start the SBT has made strides. Maybe it was that chap banging on about Sisu & how wonderful they were, that made the comment on CWR. I would imagine there are lots of dirty tricks being pulled by our wonderful owners.
Here's hoping for a massive turnout at the Ricoh on Sunday. If I could find some I'd bring some of those huge Kenny Everett hands to stick two giant fingers up to Sisu.

Why is Linnell still being paid by the BBC? He isn't employed by them apparently, so why not get someone who isn't in the pocket of sisu as this turd burgler clearly is! Can we ask for a refund on the basis this c**t is advertising for sisu?

Bore off with you're conspiratorial claptrap.

I do seem to get a lot of criticsm of late for bringing the site downhill and being out of touch.

I have to agree as Exhibit A clearly illustrates. This is certainly how intelligent debating should be done and i will learn from such insite and elequence in the future.

There is also of course the charming Spoinkop who seems to want to indulge in some McCarthy style witch hunt regarding those who attend Northampton.

I was also reduced to tears by James smith who it seems is having to cross the world barefoot to get to the charity game and will no doubt be honoured with the ACL cross by his comrades (well he's having Sunday off work anyway)

Yes all very commendable all very relevant and why I'm "on my own" and why i am so glad I am.

Couldn't quite understand his obsession of how many miles it is to Sixfields. Yes it is only 30.7 miles from Styvechale, but it is 34 miles from the Ricoh, and don't fans who live near the Ricoh count, but only fans living in Styvechale ??? Indeed for fans who live in parts of Allesley,Holbrooks Foleshill ,Whitmore Park, Tile Hill it actually works out further than 34 miles.
His season ticket money will hardly help the club that much anyway, it will be swallowed up in paying ACL (including CCC) legal fees which will no doubt hardly help his mental well being, plus some funds will need to be set aside to pay HMRC monthly fines for not yet filing any accounts.:D

Is this thread about a new episode of Family Guy?

Lois: So Daddy why are you buying an English soccer team?

Carter Pewterschmit: Because the owners have claimed they're the most ruthless people in the world.

Peter: What's wrong with that?

Carter Pewterschmit: I'm not losing that title to some bunch of Hedge Fund owning clowns.

Lois: But Daddy you don't know the first thing about Soccer!

Carter Pewterschmit: Neither do they.

30 or 34 miles, it still costs an extra £10 in the car per game.
PS It is 38 miles from Nuneaton.

May I take a moment to praise the very authentic sounding dialogue? My version was just Peter as a pro-SISU caller. Well, he is retarded, you know.

Maybe it could be a latter scene, Carter having put him up to it?

Pro-SISU Griffin meets pro-SISU Linnell? Should be a clash of the titan's. Peter keeps pointing out the bad things SISU have done by accident and justifying them according to retarded Peter logic, but it actually massively undermines them (Carter realising this would be the case!) leaving Linnell to try and patch up the mess and "explain" things to Peter?

Peter: Hello Mr Lintel, Is this thing working

Stuart Linnell: Did you have a point to make about the Sky Blues to Tim.

Peter: Yes I did. My name is Peter and I've been a Blue Sky fan for many days

Carter Pewterschmidt: Years [Sighs]

Peter: Many years and I think the way that see through

Carter Pewterschmidt: [getting cross] SISU you idiot

Peter: That SISU you idiot have been running our club is

Carter Pewterschmidt: Ruining our club [hit him James]

Peter: OW! Ruining our club is pathetic and they should sell to a much more contemptible

Carter Pewterschmidt:[Exasperated] Sensible [hit him again James]

Peter: Stop having your butler hit me….Sensible owner who can steal from the stands

Carter Pewterschmidt: Deal with the fans

Peter: Right right deal in the stands

Carter Pewterschmidt: Give me the phone you idiot

Carter Pewterschmidt: This is ruthless billionare Carter Pewterschmidt, and I demand that you sell the club to me. I’m sure I can make the fans hate me more than you ever could, you only moved the club 35 miles - that's pathetic I'd move the club 335 miles and ban all the fans from the matches.

Damn it Peter look what you made me say

The person to whom you refer is probably a freelance presenter and doubtless has a contract with the BBC. He would also be quite within his rights to instruct lawyers over your quite defamatory post and has threatened to do so to someone on here before. I would strongly suggest that you edit your post as soon as possible.

He had a point! Council own the Ricoh & Fletcher of the Trust was a former council leader.
So politics is very central in this whole fiasco.
He was very anti trust.
