Because they don't want a deal with ACL. They want to break ACL. The rent, the F&B's, the Judicial Review, and now the move to Northampton. All with one motive.

And you might say that's okay. Or that's business. It's not. The move to Northampton will kill squad expenditure for seasons to come, thanks to FFP - threatening another relegation; and with up to 5 seasons out of the City, there's a chance of a lost generation of City fan

It's not okay I wouldn't condone it, however this is the nature of a hedgefund and there business parctice, maybe it's to late to say these sharks shouldn't be allowed to invest in Football Clubs but that's all too late now.

Agreed. If we don't get relegated this season with a minus ten point deduction then every season there after is going to be struggle.

It has to be said though that where most of the blames for this whole mess lies with SISU, Fisher, Seppala and the other burks, past directors also, it also has to be said that ACL are not exempt from blame for where we are, you have to see that!

They can't break ACL, ACL have already told us they can survive without ccfc and as they have offered £150k rent, they could easily get that back with 3-4 smallish events.

The first game after sisu took over was attended by 19143 people. Sisu's latest game in charge was attended by 2204 people, over 50% were Bristol fans. I wonder why they've all stayed away? Are they all wrong and a select few appologists right?

The club brings a bit more to the table than just what it contributes in rent.

As Brighton eludes above; there's peripheral incomes that aren't reflected in that rental figure. The pros and cons of ACL's viability can be argued all day. However, there's only one bit of proof needed of SISU's intent to break ACL. The Judicial Review. Why did they suddenly develop an altruistic view of local authority investments?

So why did we get relegated £60m in debt and unable to build the Ricoh with this so called 'Good Management'?

Allegedly because the club were not actually profiting from many of the more lucrative deals on player sales !! and yes towards the end ridiculous player wages and agents fees were paid by the likes of Strachan and Atkinson to mediocre players !

I'm confident that this will be thrown out again............................ and then expect an incredibly spiteful fire sale and relegation !!

Seems the SISU propaganda machine is already getting to some. It's clever really. Create a shit situation that you know fans will react badly to then blame them for not being able to keep players due to falling numbers. Whilst created fan division along the way. Emotional blackmail.
Why couldn't they have played their playground games elsewhere. God did Southampton dodge a bullet

never a truer word on here.

Of course it'll be thrown out again Ashy. The original ruling wasn't exactly borderline, was it? In fact, it was quite damning. Their ambition being to tie ACL/CCC in time consuming litigation, which also silences them for fear of being found in contempt

Hopefully as its a hearing the Judge will give Fisher a roasting and tell him to fuck off and stop wasting the courts time

Under the old regimes we bought them in cheap or bought them through the academy and then sold at a profit.

These guys bring in at high wages and little cost and then sell when we need them most.
We spent 25 years in top class football doing this. It's called good management.
These guys couldn't manage a piss up in a brewery.
They are only interested in dumping there debt in us and going through the motions of just doing the bare minimum.
Which division we are in does not matter.
They love conflict, be it other businesses, Associations, Tax officials, administrators and in our case the fans.
That smug bastard sitting at the top table in forums was loving every minute as we squirmed under his "they can't do fukc all and I'm loving it"

spot on italiahorse.

The only wrong part of that is she doesn't want to buy the Ricoh she expects to be given it !!!!!
Well its only what her investors deserve ?

So is Leon being sold? At work, so can't read thru all the posts

Allegedly. However there is nothing to suggest that Coventry City have told Scunthorpe that Leon is avaliable, they're basing it on our situation.

I"ll come in this when he's been sold, or when he hasn't.

Nothing like Kneejerk reactions to really get to the facts if the matter, the Leon Lobjoit going to MKDons definitely as well as Baker's imminent signing for Forest spring to mind just recently.

Who can ever forget that concrete signing of Kurt Drago..

He has to be sold to service the loans Sisu will have already taken out against this seasons ticket sales !!!!
Based on Fishers wildly ambitious forecast !!!!

Sisu have shown themselves to be creatures of habit !!
So based on yearly embargos !!!
Based on them factoring season tickets most years !!!
I would think that NOPM is starting to work and hopefully they are in big trouble !!!!

It was SISU's choice to move from the Ricoh. They have had many invitations to come and talk about coming back to the Ricoh where they could expect crowds in excess of 10k but Fisher wants his 10 points back first!

Fisher was warned many months back that fans wouldn't go to a groundshare but he wouldn't listen saying that SISU were happy to fund the losses.

They brought NOPM on themselves and it's their choice to continue to ignore the wishes of 95%+ of the fans.

They would prefer to waste money on the substantial legal fees to support the hopeless Judicial Review appeal than invest in the team!

I thought Fisher told the FL that SISU were prepared to fund any shortfall bought about by their decision to move? Listening to him this week, he insinuated that included depressed revenues. Is that not the case then?

i think its becoming ever more apparent that they don't actually have a pot in which to piddle in..........

No doubting my mind that we will lose murphy, baker & Leon before the end of the window!!

Clarke clearly an investment by sisu last Jan.
If driven out from the club by lack of support, will the same supporters be moaning that sisu are not investing.
I work in retail and had a look at the financial benefits/costs in retail terms for our move to Northampton.

Strangely there is no business case for moving to Sixfields that I can find, it can only cost us support and therefore revenue even before you factor in NOPM. So I think it's unfair to blame the NOPM campaign given SISU have already done their best to hobble us financially before the season even began.

The reason for the move can only have been to distress ACL further in my opinion.

Wish that some of those had been sold rather left to leave for nothing or virtually nothing due to the incompetence of Ranson.

The Henderson and Carroll stories are just bullshit anyway.

The Telegraph understands that "Brian Laws has ruled out a move for Coventry City Striker Leon Clarke"

Hopefully that will put this negativity to bed now surronding this speculation.

Again...in the interests of balance (and a spot more fishing)...

Sisu also brought most of those players to the club in the first place (Westwood, Gunnar, Fox, Dann, Keogh, McGoldrick)

Breaking news.....football club buys & sells players shocker.....

I'm ruling myself out of a move for Leon Clarke as well.

Sure I've got a few DIY tasks round the house to complete but I'm not sure I could keep him busy enough to justify his wage for the season.

I haven't actually had any preliminary discussions with CCFC but I'm monitoring the situation as I've heard Blair Adams is a dab hand with patio design.
