I sent Mr Appleton a copy of the latest 200% article - he replied:-

" Dear Mr ****

Thank you for taking the time to write to Paul Appleton. He has asked me to reply on his behalf.

He is very much aware of all the articles and posts that have made their way into the public arena but thank you for your keen interest in this respect.

Paul's investigation is at an advanced stage and all that has entered into the public forum is just a fraction of the material under scrutiny.

Thank you again for taking the time to write.

Kind regards

Paul McCarthy "

Who says email are a waste of time ? I found the wording " just a fraction of the material under scrutiny" interesting "

There will always be those who reply to posts who are unable to make a intelligent comment I suppose............

Seriously well done VOR, but at the moment it's all speculation, yes okay you have been told " all that has entered into the public forum is just a fraction of the material under scrutiny" But who say's that the information that comes to light will improve things or in the hope of most be the answer to getting rid of our owners?

Well done for keeping at it (bit less of the victim card would be nice), but the reply is basically politely brushing you off with a 'we already know more than you'.

Well it's good to know he's doing something, he's dropped off the face of the earth since the season started.

Very interesting. If the sale to SISU is complete then why would there still need to be an investigation. Surely the next step is back to Court to rubber stamp what Appleton has done, and to ask for liquidation to start now the CVA has been rejected.

Unless there is a spanner in the works somewhere.

The interesting thing from the bottom of the email back is who its from. Is this the same Paul McCarthy that is regularly on Sky sports news doing the paper reviews, the same man that is used by Sisu to manage their PR in the the press?

Do you believe in Aliens? To read something into that reply other than STFU, you must believe in all sorts of Conspiracy theories.

You know those two girls in Peru, they weren't smuggling crack, it was really just Talc but the Peruvian government wanted more puclicity for their country thereby boosting the tourist industry.

Seriously, drop the victim complex. If you're going to come on a forum and start a new thread every 10 minutes about how great a fan you are and how much you (think you) are doing for the cause, be prepared for a little backlash and constructive criticism.

I believe so, someone said he said on TV he works for Appleton. Source on Sisu using him?

The more you care about things the more you are willing to do to help it's cause.

This tells me VOR cares a lot about his club. The majority of fans that say they love our club but sit by waiting to see what will happen next. Some do what they can to help our club. Keep an eye out for the tricks SISU pull. If it wasn't for this type of fan SISU could do what they wanted as nobody would notice. Even the FL had to end up admitting to wrongdoings at our club that are against FL rules, although it seems that rules are made to be bent with them, and only because of them getting so many emails and then others asking the questions all the time. SISU would have screwed us worse by now if all of our fans just sat back and done nothing by others who then think it is good to have a go at anyone doing their best for our club. Well done.

Keep it up VOR. I am one of the majority who sits around waiting to see what they have done to our club next. It will be me who is full of regret if I do nothing and we go under. Anything is possible with SISU or whatever they call themselves today in charge

To be fair VOR, We have gained nothing from this thread youve started - only that youve had a reply. It tells us nothing different.

So they know already so they cannot ignore the facts and sweep them under the carpet now can they, PA will have to justify his actions

It depends how people look at it. Objectively - has anything changed as a result? Not that I can see.
To an extent though all that really matters is that YOU feel good about it. Are you reassured by the reply? That he is aware of all the posts/articles. Happy/encoraged that he's looking at so much MORE information? Or just glad you have a response from his side of things (not him...& there's nothing to prove he has seen you email)

It's the fact he used to do about three threads daily on GMK saying how great that Sisu were.

He probably used to email the Football League 10 times a day telling them that they were great and trustworthy and not to bother about what anybody else said, they don't need investigating at all.

Well it doesn't tell us a lot. But then the replies from the Football League didn't, but eventually they came out and admitted mistakes. I believe that was due to fan pressure and some emails asking questions around there administration procedures (as in players registrations and when they were transferred, did they just record company names or did they record company reg numbers as issued by companies house).

I won't criticise anyone who is actively writing and campaigning about our plight.

There was a time I (& many others too) was happy SISU were here...sadly we aren't all as wise & knowledgable as yourself - maybe it's your problem that you can't either change your opinion (although maybe YOU are the mighty "always right" one?), or have the need to mock or rubbish others that have the balls to eventually say "I think in hindsight I was wrong - I now think..."
Personally, I am still grateful for them coming on board to save us initially. I believe their principle of owning the ground & club & revenue streams is the right one. Hate the way they go about it & think they've burned too many bridges to warrant my backing them now. So I want them out, I want the team's home matches at home & I want to concentrate on matters on the pitch (but cannot).
VOR is doing what I think HE thinks is best...I can't believe you (I know ypu aren't alone) think it best to insult/attack those who ultimately want the same thing - a healthy club playing in the City & getting results that'll eventually put us back in the Premiership...or maybe I'm wrong?

Still grateful?

I haven't been grateful since we got relegated and that feeling has only intensified during recent months and that's not solely down to SISU

I take it that despite highlighting the word "initially" you didn't read it, understand it - or you just ignored it?

Well being that the word "still" would be a word applied to the present and "initiailly" being applied to the past, you are either contradicting yourself or you are "still" grateful.
