No I don't but hope that it is no more than for the Brizzle game. If it is then I can see the NOPM campaign failing.

Nahh.. wait till injuries, poor form & bad weather sets in.. then it'll be cool.

I work in Leicester with foxes fans.

It's amazing how even most of them have not a clue about why our "home " gate was so small against Bristol in the 9 goal thriller.

They think it was so small because "we don't support our club... we are not prepared to travel etc"

I try to explain the situation..that isn't easy..because every time I visit this forum I wonder if I actually understand this shit myself anymore.

My worry is people outside of Cov really do not know what is happening to our club..now the prem has started nobody cares outside of the Cov circle.

How do you even start to explain this mess when you are asked by opposing fans taunting you???

I'm getting fed up of this fucking shit!!

Just point out to them the fact that their lowest gate last year was lower than our lowest gate and that will confuse them.

As for the pne game, ticket sales on the online thing look similar to the Bristol game.

preston are expecting a small following because they have burnley away on the tuesday after and are taking around 3500

Preston North End attendance? My guess, about 500 actual paying CCFC fans and about 600 PNE fans. + maybe a couple of hundred CCFC breaking ranks on the back of two wins. The game possibly won't break 2,000.

i reckon between 3 and 4 thousand - a lot of people are getting sucked into going 'to support the lads in sky blue' as they think that they are missing out some sort of sky blue revolution. good luck to them but i personally cannot get to sixfields on a weekend due to shift work as travel to and fro does not give me time to do so. my club is Coventry City and thats where i should be watching them at home games.
Good luck to the sky blues against Preston- radio for me.

Hopefully fewer than the first game. Dont agree with City playing in Northampton.

Probably around 1k. If the figures are not fudged.

Needs quoting later. There will not be 4500 people at the game

Could quote plenty who said huge crowd for the charity game if you like. There was one who said 15 - 20k

That will basically mean your campaign has failed surely? If you're saying that it'll take injuries, poor form and bad weather to keep people away and not your campaign.

A good proportion of people who watch the city are fickle. You only have to look at the gate for the JPT semi compared with the usual attendance to see that people will go and watch us if its important and we are winning.

I would think many "hard core" fans have made up their mind to either go, or don't go. The gates will be boosted by the glory hunters.

Read a quote by Oldskyblues58 on "Franchise - Relocation" thread, 3rd page.

those who want numbers to go to Northampton should read this, not what we want to hear but makes sense.

Fickle, glory supporters and Coventry City.

Am I reading this right? Is glory really a semi final of the JPT cup?

This club has been starved of success for so long I was amazed we were still getting 5 figure crowds at the Ricoh.

It is a measure of how remarkably loyal we are as supporters that we regard two League One wins as 'glory'.

For most people I know and I'm talking 95% of them who are City fans, they won't attend Sixfields for a number of reasons
1, Distance and extra time
2, Cost
3, Because they live outside of their home City, going back regularly for football matches was a good way of keeping in touch with the town and friends and contributing money into our 'OWN' home City's economy.
4, Disenfranchised by all the bullshit and lies.
5, Sixfields is a low grade shithole in the middle of nowhere{ Especially compared to our real home ground}
6, SISU are a load of scumbags, poor communicators, uncaring, immoral, single tracked minded of Investment recovery only.
7, Fisher is an arrogant Cnut, he's not telling me or any of the others 'They'll be back after 3 games'
NOPM is not just a political stance from us, its anger, apathy, disenfranchisement and a refusal to spend more money following a hedge funds spiteful agenda !!
